I also love fussy cutting Tula's fabrics! I made a blackout curtain and a mask out of that same peacock pattern, and made a EPP bag for my lemur loving friend out of another choice from the animal set. Thanks for recommending the bag pattern, I am going to try it out!

Kristin you've inspired me to pull out my Tula Bloomers project. I'm making 3 quilts, one for each granddaughter. It is slow going as I have multiple knitting WIPs to finish. Your quilts are beautiful! I can't wait to see your Caron sweater! It looks comfortable and machine washable is a bonus.

Tula Pink is amazing, I have that Tula Nova pattern with templates and fabric….EPP is fun and relaxing. I made an EPP project holder called The Spice Rack, from Oklaroots, it holds my kindle as well. I love your EPP bag, lol, not sure my sewing skills are up to that level.

I love your cardigan! Your taste in colours is amazing! As for the EPP, all I can see is a pair of spread legs in the middle 😅 It took me a few seconds to notice that is was actually two birds 🙈 Maybe, and hopefully, that is just me having a dirty mind 😂

Tula's got such a great personality! There are a few interviews with her floating around KZbin and other podcasts if you're interested. I love learning about all these fabric designers - I was never really into Kaffe Fassett's fabric but learning what inspires his prints and how he uses color ... suddenly I'm like, "Ah! I get it now." and find myself wanting to work with it. 😂

Yay! It actually calls for 1 layer cake that you sub-cut into strips + additional yardage for the background, border, etc.. I actually linked to the pattern in the description box above - it tells you how much fabric you need 😄

It will be tough to get many of the TulaNova shapes out of jelly rolls, best to use larger pieces to be safe!
