A pattern for the "Don't Look Up" pullover exists in Ravelry. The pattern is titled "Dibiasky" by Claire McLean. It is a free Ravelry download.

I have the same feeling about free motion quilting, but I learned about using rulers while quilting and that makes such a difference! It does take a little getting used to I follow Angela Walters' tutorials in general, but specifically on dot to dot quilting and I love it! I only use the little ruler to quilt straight lines, but with her advice and examples, it is all custom quilting. It looks really pretty! For the epic MAL I would love to finish FMQing some languishing quilttops. They are pretty and deserve some pretty quilting! It so happens that these are Edyta Sitars mystery quilts from past years; I made them all and she is my safe bet when it comes to QAL mysteries. She will host a new one soon, I saw on Instagram. Previous years she started them on Mothers Day, so I'd better finish quilting soon!

Love your small quilt. I really enjoy the smaller quilts to decorate my craft space. They are less time consuming and a great way to practice with quilting. Love where you put it. The Simple Whatnots quilts look like fun! Lots of piecing! YOu did a great job with fabric selections.

It never fails to astound me how colors such as Persimmon and bright pink look good together - but they DO! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Good work on that sweater - huge though it may be. Deconstructing/reconstructing - it wouldn’t even occur to me to try it. You’re an adventurous soul Kristen.❤

The unreasonable frustration I felt when you put the look up sweater away….. love the yellow color in it. Was afraid you would frog it if you got tired of it. So happy to see that sweater… 🎉 if it doesn’t fit, gift to your niece.

I was going to suggest to make 4 of your midnight quilts put together next minute it was finished. Love your colours. I started quilting when there were only fat quarter pre cuts so can proudly say I have never bought a layer cake or charm squares and only half a jelly roll. Still have a huge stash.

Hi Kristen, I am knitting the Kismet sweater and wanted to thank you for the tutorial on stranded colorwork continental style. The technique of how you hold your yarn was just what I needed. My tension is so much better!! The Kismet is a challenge but love the pattern and it is so addictive. Thanks again!

Hi Kristin, love your content! I knitted a don't look up inspired pullover last year too. It was so much fun 😊 I used the two free patterns on ravelry but tweaked it a little because my yarn was a different weight. I think the positive response comes from the association with the great film. I hope you enjoy your don't look up sweater. Thanks for the great content 🥰

Thank you so much, Julia! It really is a fun colorwork project. I think those patterns came out the same time I started making this sweater. If I ever decide to make another version, I'll definitely be referring to those 😅

Stupid idea: leave that wall hanging where it is. It could be joined by other star-motived ones. Each one would be like a constellation or galaxy. You'd be then creating under the stars :-)

Sorry that your sweater is turning out larger than you wanted, but I was really happy to see it again! I was so impressed by how quickly you jumped on recreating it after seeing it in the movie.

I love your miniquilt, it is beautiful. I started taking lessons on quilting but gave up eventually. I think there is trick to make a knot 🪢 on the back and then to pul it through the middle layer of the quilt, gives secret finishing trick , maybe it is on yourtube how to hide them ends as I can’t explain it properly x

thank you! Yes, there are all sorts of nifty techniques for finishing a quilt "properly"... when it comes to free motion quilting or using my walking foot, I do the quick and dirty method of making a few back stitches and cutting my thread 😂

Two hints, your quilt would look cool laying on topog a small table. And enlarging your quilt would be simple with the software program . Happy quilting. Electric Quilt. So fuun tod play with.

Started with EQ7 in 2008, and upgraded to 8 in 2017. Definitely a learning curve, but so worth the effort. Good luck, keep using it, it does get easier.
