I really like the idea of blocking your daughter's fuchsia pink sweater as she grows -what a great way to get more wear out of it! And could you also do an episode of your favourite tools and accessories like Creabea is planning?

Love all the finished items and WIPS! Thank you for another great episode. Is it possible to post your measurements for the Amy slipover that you knit using the thicker yarn please? I just finished one (its in time out at the moment due to italian cast off of what seem to be a million stitches) per the Sandes Garn pattern using their suggested yarn and I wish it were a bit wider but I wasn't sure how much wider to make it. I did adjust the length for my height (just a bit taller than you). I'm also debating doing buttons or toggles for the sides next time vs the ties but I think buttons would work better with a wider front/back. Thanks! The pink sweater for your daughter is adorable and I'm sure she will love it and you will be able to see her from a distance if she is outside playing too! Be well and thank you again for a fun episode.

What I really admire is how you find the time to do all your knitting. I know from past episodes that you are a fast knitter who can look away from your project. I, on the other hand, am quite slow and can't look away. Could you perhaps address how you manage your time knitting-wise? You have a busy life with a daughter, family, etc. - so I'd really love to know how you pack knitting into your surely busy schedule. If others can give me advice - please do so, I'm grateful.

Thanks Inga! love seeing your makes. Cables and textures are fascinating me right now. I have a Blacker 3 ply Jacob that looks wonderful in texture. I also set aside a WoolyKnit British Wool cone with some silk mohair - I'm thinking about using that combination on Petite Knit's Ingrid sweater or possibly one of Sari's from Softly. I've enjoyed seeing the stitch definition you have with yarns held double. I've found that holding Nutiden double to achieve a similar gauge may create a thicker fabric than I'm looking for. Thanks for sharing - love the hen on your raglan!

Hi Inga, it's always a lot of fun to hear your knitting stories. "Nelli ate the ball band" it made me laugh. 😂As to the row gauge, I'm always tighter knitter, so I don't meet the row gauge. That's why I prefer top down construction, where I can adjust the lenght. This year I had the problem with lace yoke sweater knitted bottom up. I had to provisional cast on, knit the yoke bottom up because of lace. And then add some cm to get the proper lenght to underarms. And then opposite direction for body and sleeves. I started it three times. Never more. I love the sweaters you are wearing in this episode, both of them. Have a nice time with knitting and with your daughter.❤

Beautiful finished items and WIPs as always! Your Billie pullover looks so good! And I’m sure the pink slipover will look very cute on Nelli. 😊 I‘m working a Ruska Cardigan and loving it. Very clever pattern to avoid long purl rows but still look more tailored than the typical garter stitch cardigan. Also using Rauma Finull for the first time and so far really like it

Another gorgeous and inspiring collection of knits! Everything looks so cozy and I continue to be amazed by all you can accomplish while taking care of a little one too❤️ I was glad to hear you talk about the difficulties of achieving row gauge because Zi am never successful at that and try to accommodate in other ways. I am currently knitting Seeater No.18 by My Favorite Things Knitwear using Drops Air (as it is one of few yarns Zi can tolerate next to skin) and it has a row gauge I am ignoring, with good results so far!

I'm working on a Crossandra sweater adult right now :) Love all the details in the pattern! I'm thinking of knitting back and forth instead of joining in the round, because my left hand and arm isn't too fond of purling. But I'm affraid that if I sew the side seams, it will take away from the elegant look. So I have some decisions to make 😅

The softest i have must be the cashmere merino ones from jc rennie in scotland but they smell ALOT of spinning oil so until its washed its not very pleasant🤗 woolyknit and holst have some lovely more wooly rustic yarns, woolyknit also carry merino but its not buttery soft more of a hearty merino ehich i like but i like wooly wools🤗
