Knitting tutorial: Splitting off the sleeves for Ranunculus sweater and cable cast on under the arms

In this video i demonstrate the part of the Ranunculus pattern where the sleeves are split off from the body and stitches are cast on under the arms using the cable cast on.
The pattern has a method for reducing any holes that you might get under the arms.

Thank you. This was so helpful. I bought the pattern for the anker summer shirt last night and was looking through it and there is a point in the pattern which looks very similar to this. I have never made a yoke sweater before. I was confused when I read it and was hoping it would make more sense as I started knitting. Seeing a visual in your video was very helpful. I know it will not be exactly the same but at least I understand see the concept now.

Hi Melena Thank you so much for the reminder. I have a video of knitting the sleeve that i will upload this week. I havent done the second sleeve yet so i will make sure i do videos of the decreases and then the icord bind off.
