Perfect! Just what I needed to see! Cast on with knitting needles, separating the stitches for magic loop, and away you go. (No double points, no crochet hook) 2:56

I love it when you talk about dressing your loom and never getting to it….it makes me feel better for doing the exact same thing!!! It’s such a huge task and the knitting and sewing is much more relaxing for me to do. But I’ll keep saying…one day I’ll get that loom warped!!! 😂

Thank you!!! This was PERFECT!! That pinching of the stitch and pass over made all the difference! I got all twisting following other videos that didn’t have the pinch/passover or using the crochet method. Thank you!!

Hi, thank for this video. It really helped me! But now I am stucked because I lost a grain and down't know how to bring it back on my needle. Can you help?
@anneliepronk132220 сағат бұрын
Thank you for the explanation. You said you have two extra stitches. What happens if you leave them on your needles? Will your armhole be bigger? I noticed with the pattern that I’m following said add 6 cast on for the armpit. I just finished my body and am supposed to start the sleeves. I noticed it’s a bit tight at the armpit. Could I simply add extra stitches so my armpit will be a bit wider by simply using your technique?

I am taking a knitting class in March and I have chosen Charisma to knit as my lesson sweater. I cannot tell you how much you are going to help me with your tutorial on short rows. This sweater is for my daughter in law because her favorite style is the batwing model. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Thank you again.

You make me giggle, because as far as I know Australia uses the metric system, yet you keep referring to your measurements in inches😁. Sizzling hot here by us as well in Cape Town, South Africa. Happy knitting, love visiting with you🧶🩵

Thank you so much. I am definitely a creature of habit. I learned in inches as a child from my mum as well as all the US patterns I knit. Hope you are managing to stay cool. x

If you don’t like the way the dress looks, could you try it with a half slip or put moisturiser on the parts which you think are clingy to see if it stops the fabric sticking? Personally I think it looks great but I’m not wearing it.

OMG 40°C is just rude! It’s 29 here and that’s perfect. Bag looks awesome and that lining fabric is so cute. I always struggle knowing sweater length and sleeve length and sleeve fit, I never know exactly what I want until I can try it on and then I think hmm…. 😳😬 I love upholstery, have fun on the course. I’ve recovered quite a few lounges many years ago when there was no money! Actually last one I did was 8 years ago 🙄 Very rewarding and fun but it was nice to buy a new lounge a couple of years ago for a change. The footstool will be so much fun to do and in a group environment adds to the fun. Enjoy school and may the lower temperatures visit you 🥰

Hi Tash, I hope the school year kicks off well! I was so impressed with the look of your Heimathafen. Your face just comes alive when you put that on. I had been a bit on the fence when the pattern was released (mainly because the sizing is not ideal for my measurements 0 to 20 cm is a big difference), but now it is in my queue and I've already worked out which stash yarn to dedicate to the project. Brilliant inspiration all round. Thanks again. K

I just found your podcast and subscribed. I really enjoyed your style, attitude and projects. I wanted to say that I like your dress and yes, it will make a great after beach cover up. Your Isabelle Kramer sweater is looking great also. I loved the look of the purple yarn and will be taking some of your thoughts and ideas with me the next time I choose a sweater. Do you enjoy knitting with the Purl Soho Quill? I have not yet tried it. Thanks for entertaining and inspiring me. 💜 Linda from Maryland, USA

The dress looks great. You could always make it into a shirt or make a shorter dress and recycle the yarn. Wondering if you thought you needed to buy the Petite bag accessories through Petite knit? Enjoyed the episode as always! Thanks!
@mostlyknitting5 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I bought the Petite Knit accessories just to get a feel for what was intended. Then for any future bags, i will try to source something similar. I made the lining myself as I knew this should be pretty straight forward and i had plenty of stash fabric to use. :)

Hi Tash, your Friend from the Vault, Coral, is lovely and looks wonderful on you. You definitely should wear it and not only at the beach. I made the Sabai top and I love it. The armholes are very low, as the pattern is written. I made the armholes about an 1'' shorter and that worked great. I look forward to your next episode.

I think the dress fits perfectly! I have only done the simplest of crochet but I am planning to make the Tropez Sweater by Susanne Müller this spring. I have done a swatch and it is so fun (and easy)! As far as I can tell from looking at the pattern it is just a few rectangles and some very minor shaping at the neck. I think this is a really fun warm weather piece.

Could you put a light lining inside of your dress? That way it wouldn't cling as much. Clover amor hooks are my favorite. You could do a purse in crochet. It would look similar to your knitted one. That's how hot it gets here in Southern Arizona in the summer also. Keep cool! Love your videos.

Beautiful bag! You may want to hand sew the lining to the lower edge of the zipper tape to prevent catching the lining in the zipper, which can be very difficult to undo. I think that as a former math teacher, I approach knitting in much the way you do, where I make adjustments to the increases based on how many increases are remaining and the projected size over all. I hope this school year brings lots of positive challenges!
@mostlyknitting5 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for the tip on the zipper tape and the lining. That is a good idea. Will just make it easier to use as well. :)
