I have a question!! From the top down - How do you increase while keeping the design looking natural? sometimes when i increase it shifts the design? Thank you!

It depends on where you do the increases. It’s always evenly distributed to keep the proportions the same. If you follow a designer’s pattern, the placement is always accurate.
