Been to Edinburgh many times 😃 my mother was a Scot, born in Kirkcaldy and moved to London when she was 16. It was great seeing it again, thank you. It’s been a long time since ive been to Scotland. Listening to the bagpipes and and watching the video has made me want to go back. I miss it. Thank you 🌷

It is so funny watching both you and Grace and how different your podcasts are even though you are at the same event. Saw so many podcasters at the Knit Night gathering that I follow. Love the sharing.

There are so many beautiful places in Scotland. I think I could live very happily in Edinburgh. The roads and buildings are so wonderful! And, the amount of yarn at this festival just blows me away! Top color artists with the most beautiful yarns. I would have to save up for months and years because I want to buy it all! That cardigan, the cream color with the speckles was beautiful. I hope you bought it. I think I could spend a lot of money in that shop. And, we even get to see Layla! It looks like you and Grace had a great time and isn't it wonderful when you can find a friend to do stuff like this with. I think the best gift you brought home was that brown paper bag. Hugo just loved it! Great podcasts as usual. Looking forward for the haul coming up!

Oh that’s hilarious on the train socket...no toasters! I’ve never noticed that on a train before in Scotland or England...like who took a toaster on a train for them to write that. Anyway, great videos and look forward to seeing your haul tomorrow, as lots of yummy fibre from that quick glimpse.

Lovely to see EYF thru your eyes 😍 How far/long were your train rides one way?
@KnittingExpat5 жыл бұрын
it was about 4.5hrs on the way up and about 5hrs on the way back (it was a slower train) that was just the london to edinburgh leg ... its then another 1.5hrs for me to get home from London but that again was because of waiting for trains due to sunday timings and there not being as many.

Wondering why all participants in the group events seem same age. Kind of surprising, as I did not think UKers are agist. Recent development? Having worked in two yarn shops and befriended many young, mature and in between, this strikes me as highly unusual.

we are not agist at all ... the people in the group events were of all ages and backgrounds
