I’ve been watching you all for a while now. As a person of an older generation, it is wonderful to see a younger couple enjoy and share such a fantastic journey. There is one thing that struck me in this video even more than any other for some reason: as Jessica looks out the bus window just before the cemetery stop - she is stunning. I haven’t seen that type of non-surgical beauty since H Lamar or V Leigh. If I had that beauty when I was young … 🤣 Thank you both for all of the adventures!

I only realised after the 3rd or 4th time of you saying it, but kudos for pronouncing Edinburgh correctly 😁. I grew up not far from Edinburgh, midway between there and Glasgow. I've done the Mary King's Close experience, i love history, so found it fascinating rather than horrifying. I also did the Blair Street Vaults tour around the same time. Again, i found it fascinating and perhaps oddly, i felt very relaxed and peaceful in there. Again as something historical, i thought it was very interesting, knowing that businesses were opened in the vaults, that people lived in there. The place must've been heaving. It's great you came over to Scotland and from what you've uploaded so far, seemed to have a great time. As we say here. Haste ye back.

I've enjoyed every video on your trip. Being in Edinburgh reminds me of the time we were there. Royal Mile? Start at the top, the Castle, then walk down, to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The day we visited was in March, a clear and sunny day, but chilly. We were dressed appropriately. But as we passed the shops and pubs on the way down, I was puzzled. The streets outside the pubs were jammed with people, most looking like they were dressed for the beach. I never saw so much pasty skin in my life. I later realized that that day was probably the first sunny, blue-sky day of the year. And they were taking full advantage! Love you guys!

This is amazing! Thanks for putting Scotland on the map. If I’d have known you were here I’d of came and said hello. The patronus scene was interesting. Rowling wrote all of the HP series whilst living in Edinburgh, so obviously a lot of the city’s details made it into the story - the castle being the school, the architecture, other little things that may go unnoticed, etc. Also, a couple of little things for you (if you’re interested). Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein whilst residing in Scotland - that explains that incredible bar and Jekyll and Hyde was wrote by Robert L. Stevenson who was an Edinburgh native born and bred. The city, and the country of Scotland, has always been fascinated with the macabre and darker side of life. Glad you enjoyed your trip. I hope you and your good lady were treated with that world famous Scottish hospitality that we pride ourselves on. Until next time 😊
@dustinwashburn128310 ай бұрын
It should be noted that Stevenson was very likely inspired to write Jekyll and Hyde due to the Educated Gentlemen of the Surgeons School purchasing Corpses from the body-snatchers. Basically prim and well groomed, but working in what were likely shady dealings, translated into the dichotomy between the Gentleman Jekyll, and Brutish Hyde.
@jonathanlandau-litewski74055 ай бұрын
