Hi Hannah. I’m trying to learn to read the patterns. You’re explanation was spot on. However, I’m still not sure what this means: (ws) K1, M1, K14

Hi Alicia, This means, knit one stitch, then make one (as this video shows) then knit fourteen stitches. You possibly have 15 stitches on your needle as you begin, and when you've done the row with 'make one' you'll have 16. (unless there is more instruction after the K14) Happy knitting! 🧶
