Ive had the Bush Camp knife for about 1 year now. I have done everything from cutting my meat & cordage, to bushcrafting to literally hacking down 3" diameter trees with it & battoning & splitting my wood to start a fire. I wanted an All-in-One knife to carry in the back country with me. This is it. Tim @ KOA is great. He's super knowledgeable and helpful. I also have sent in my knife for a re-sharpen. The lifetime warranty they offer has so far rang true on my end. I have kicked the shit out of my Bush Camp knife and it still keeps going. They certainly do come scary sharp out of the box. And also, after sending them in for a re-sharpen. Also, if you kick the shit out of your knife so bad that it needs a new edge, that also falls under their lifetime warranty (at least in my case for the Bush Camp Knife it did) For anyone looking for an independent opinion on that Knife, I give it a 10/10. I wont buy another knife.

The ulu is known as a woman's knife. They use it to process mammals from their habitat (oftentimes whales and seals) and in food preparation. ... Jaeger is a German word, meaning hunter. In the Avian world there are 3 species of Jaegers (also called Skuas). ... The Parasitic Jaeger can be seen off the Atlantic Coast. I've seen them just north of Cape May and in Delaware Bay near the mouth, between Cape May and Cape Henlopen. ... The Long-tailed Jeager can be seen from the Denaly Hwy, between Paxson and Cantwell, along the eastern Alaska Range. They nest on tundra, above the treeline. ... I have no experience with Pomarine Jaegers. ... I hunted moose, bison, caribou and Dall Sheep in Interior Alaska, north of the eastern Alaska Range. I never used a Knives of Alaska knife on those hunts, but I think that beefy cleaver would be perfect for moose and bison. ... I just ordered a KOA Muskrat in S-30V with orange SureGrip scales. I like the steel and the Suregrip handle will give a sure grip when bloody and will make it easy to find on the tundra. The small, close to ground tundra plants are mostly deciduous.
