I have a Pearl Scale Knife that could possibly be a UN-Marked. F. Watson Bowie. Got it in Carson City NV 30 years ago. Very similar in design handle & Blade.

for the money your best buy bowie book is hands down "the bowie knife unsheathing an American legend" by Norm Flayderman. its usually 80.00. I always steered clear of Mexican bowies, because of the mass produced tourist trade and poor quality so I cannot really say much on them except they don't really play a role with authentic bowie collectors unless dating in the 1800s or really special in some way or another. I would ask Bernard Levine. just google Bernard Levine knife appraisal and for a fee of $5 per knife, by paypal he will write you a full written appraisal. hes good for fishing out fakes on ebay too.
