I Can Do That - Learning Filmmaking ft. Nagesh Kukunoor |

The very last episode of this season of I Can Do That! I’m so grateful to be have the opportunity to try out different formats and have a team in place that’s completely on board. This time we thought it might be fun to treat this as a mockumentary and we went ahead and did just that. Everyone just went ahead and improvised surprised ourselves with a somewhat coherent story that took shape! The last episode it was an animated sequence where I just blabbed some voices of cocktails and then some animators patiently worked that into a story.
By the way, this whole series has been just saying “wouldn’t it be fun if we did this crazy thing?” And then we just went ahead and did it!
It’s also been shot like a documentary, meaning that there’s no script and our poor editors had sense of sometimes 40 hours of footage and cut that down to just 18 minutes. This is a longer episode because we said, hey let’s do a longer episode?
I can’t thank the whole team enough, the folks at Supari Studios + all the freelancers that worked on the project, the relentless 1862, OML, and of course Dewar's for making this whole thing possible. It’s unlikely that most people have stayed this far but if you have, most of all I’d like to thank you, for sticking with me through thick and thin and animations, montages and conversations with balls of light.
