Actually the knot is a sheet bend, not a bowline, but a bowline is sort of a sheet bend on the bight so you're close. :)

I would recommend not having a knot tied on the end of the rope halter. It is better than a piece of metal keeping the two ends together. But I prefer a rubber like material on the end. Better for the horse. Another way is better in attaching the lead line to the rope halter loop. (See Warwick Schiller video on attaching a lead line to the rope halter). It provides the room needed when converting the lead line to reins. And it is secure.

That’s knot a bowline. It’s called a sheet bend.

Epic fail not a bowline , horse proper pulls back none of ur knots will come undone by hand period , jst stay in yr lane seriously i could show an tell ya but won’t
