Abby probably knew the truth was going to come out eventually and by her telling the truth she takes the leverage that Greg and Peter have against away and she can spin her side of things.

Abby did her magic. She’d had enough of being blackmailed by Greg. Turned the whole thing around to make him look like the bad guy. Sometime after this happened, Val went to see Abby and thanked her for reuniting her with her children. Greg should have known better than to underestimate Abby. She’s not to be toyed with.

Knots landing great that it was. But I felt Dallas and Dynasty took the success away from it, which is a shame. Knots landing was just as good as Dallas and Dynasty put together.

@@johndoyle2429 Knots Landing did last 14 seasons. So the show was just as successful as Dallas and Dynasty. If you have any requests, please let me know, because I’ll be posting more scenes, for entertainment purposes, of course.

@@dominickdirienzo8266, I don't if you agree with me Unlike Dallas and Dynasty, Knots landing was a show that could have went on forever. Some many great Actress and actors on the show. That's even without Donna Mills who was great actress on the show.

@@johndoyle2429Dallas, Dynasty, Melrose Place were all FANTASTIC! That said if I could help state what I believe you're thinking. Knots Landing and to an extent Falcon Crest were more cleverly written and way more character oriented. Every plot came from the action of a character. The other shows were plot first then the character adjust. Knots was more intricately weaved. It pivoted. For the first three seasons it was only somewhat serialized. Then really serialized . Then back. They made missteps but very few. Id attribute that to Jacobs and Filerman whose names appeared as credits at the end of all 344 episodes. Think of it this way. The other shows were from boxed cake mix, Knots was from scratch 99% of the time. Good writing and care for the product. Mary Tyler Moore, Cheers, Mash, Family, I Love Lucy all experienced that same care. Others became somewhat victimized as a cash cow. Knots itsy bitsy less popularity enabled the show to fall less victim to blind capitalism!
