I was there with my family. It was a chaotic scene near the park's exit. A large crowed formed while exiting since everyone was asked to leave the park early. At one point something happened that caused everyone to panic and run, but there were no shots. While at the park people were talking about a lot of violence and one security guard badly injured. You could tell something would happen, too many teens in large groups unattended acting rowdy with no regard to authority or respect to families with their children

Some amusement parks added that rule last year. Problem is there are still ways around it. A group of teenagers could go with an adult and then fight when the adult is say in the bathroom or just not around at the moment. Also, anyone 18 or older is legally an adult. Some adults who are still young (18-20 something) are still pretty much teenagers and will also fight. And if a group of rowdy teens brought a rowdy 20 year old as their adult, things are going to be even worse.

You're making jokes, but I just got home from there. It was complete chaos and very scary. I was there with kids. I was separated from one of my kids while the other was stepped on. People could have died. Knotts Berry Farm did not have enough security, there were too many unaccompanied minors and the park seemed very crowded. Park personnel were directing everyone to the front exit instead of there being multiple exits. Knotts personnel were completely unprepared and did not handle the situation appropriately. People panicked, fights broke out and there were reports of a gun or an active shooter. I was there for maybe an hour before all hell broke loose. There is so much more that I can say, but I am spent. I thank God that all of my family is ok, that we are home, and we are safe.

Lmao people randomly assuming the people causing things were black with no source. Just into the void. Even if it were the case, this shit happens all the time with every different kind of person. @cvn6555

@@azure9809 Randomly? Are you sure that's the word you want there? Making that assumption is not done "randomly" but is based on a large amount of experience reading about these incidents over the last 20 years. When it is one group 99% of the time, there is nothing random about it. It is their actions, disregard for law, public safety, even the least amount of common decency that reflects a low IQ and lack of breeding. Love to see how one connects an ability to see and retain information, draw conclusions from that information and then use it to make predictions about subsequent events with low IQ and bad social development. In fact, what I just described is known as "the scientific method" more or less (no hypothesis postulated although we could come up with a doozy).

I unfortunately had to evacuate with my family because a group of unruly black "teens", about 50-100, began attacking anyone at random who looked in their direction. They were verbally and physically attacking random patrons for a good hour or two. Then the security staff tried to intervene but then that group became physical with them and all hell broke loose from there. Punches were thrown from every which direction. One security guard was bleeding profusely from the mouth and nose. These "teens" appeared to be unaccompanied and there were no parents or adults in sight. They were yelling racial slurs about Mexicans too for some reason. I think it's because most of the guards were Hispanic. It was horrific. I don't think I'll ever go back to Knotts unless they do something drastic. There's no reason "teens" should be unaccompanied, it's not a daycare center!

When I was much younger than I am today, I snuck out to go to the park down the street from my house. Came home, after the street lights came on. What happened next is something that sadly seems to be lacking in today's world. I was swiftly, and rightly so bent over the couch. And, had a lesson in not only sneaking out, but being out past dark. I'm surprised I can still sit down. I never snuck out again. Nor would I have ever behaved like this in public. For the same reason.

I remember seeing that fight at Disneyland, and then seeing a violent crime in downtown San Francisco. In a way they looked the same. The combatants start yelling, they get up in someone else's face, there's a lot of swearing, and then it gets really violent. The district attorneys need to prosecute these people according to the law. It's not safe for regular people to go and do anything anymore.

What a productively peaceful and pragmatic culture! Proud pillars of the community all of them. With their benevolent bodacious contributions to society, there is nothing they can’t accomplish. Let’s all give these flawless saints our full love and support. Despite all the statistics and hateful propaganda being shoved in our faces everyday, the obvious truth is plain for all decent human beings to see. We all can sleep safe and sound at night knowing they are always nearby to help us whenever trouble strikes!
