It's truly the optimum Christmassy experience of all the parks! Back in the day you could go into just Calico for a nominal fee and I would go every week during the season, as I love anything old West and Christmas! Would love to experience Dollywood someday for the same vibe. Thanks for sharing!

So fun. Grew up just down the road. Remember when you could just walk into the park, no charge and ride the burros where the mine ride is now. Thanks for reminding me how fun it was. One of my favorite places.❤❤❤

I miss Knott's Merry Farm! I haven't been able to get there in a couple years. Krazy Kirk & The Hillbillies are the best! His hair went white! Knott's is definitely the best value. I hope it doesn't change, now that Cedar Fair merged with Six Flags. Thanks for the fun visit!

We’re a family of 4, so unfortunately Disneyland isn’t in our budget. We bought Knott’s passes 4 years ago and love it! I agree with you Adam, that Knotts gives their pass holders so much experience with the regular pass. And I appreciate that (outside of Scary farm of course). We also love trying the holiday/seasonal foods. You can’t beat the price and all it offers. We also purchase the drink and meal plans which are great.

I am in my mid 50’s. I have home movies from knotts berry farm around 1971-2sh with my grandfather standing under an arch and goats walking over him. One goat took his hat off his head and kept walking.

I will say out of all the theme parks here in SoCal I will say in my opinion Knott’s has the best Christmas 🎄 event with the shows the food items the wonderful lights and the most snoap of any theme park and I would say Knott’s is a must go too for any holiday event and I might add Knott’s is the one that started it all here in SoCal, now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and Merry Christmas 🎄 to you Adam and Daphne and I’ll see you on the next awesome vlog adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️

Back in 2020 when the amusement parks were closed Knott’s held food events. I took some friends to their Christmas food event and we were all pleased with the food. They also had the park decorated and allowed you to walk around certain parts of the park.

We love Knotts Merry Farm and this video. My wife and I went earlier this week! No shows were running because it was a week day. But we had a great dinner at the chicken dinner at it's famous restaurant and saw the Christmas tree lighting and the snow. And the wonderful Christmas lights at Camp Snoopy! We had a Wonderful Time!

I was there Sunday night with my kids too but I was too busy trying to find where they serve hot apple cider since they move it every year. That’s my Knotts Merry Farm tradition since I was a kid growing up across the street from Independence Hall on Stanton Avenue back in the 80s & 90s. Back then only all the shops on Grand Avenue and Ghost Town was opened free to the public with all the merchants booths but you couldn’t go on any of the rides. You could only see a few free shows like the Christmas Carol at the Birdcage Theater. Things changed to what it is today after Cedar Parks took over. There was the smell of hot apple cider everywhere around ghost town back then especially at night since they served it everywhere back then. That’s what I miss the most about the old days when the Knotts family still owned the place. That smell is Christmas for me.

16:42 I noticed that also in the last couple years that brussels sprouts have become really popular. I’ve always liked them, but they are a lot better now. Specially, the way people sauté them with the balsamic glaze. I love them like that or grilled. Fun fact, I seen a video recently saying that they change brussels sprouts a couple years ago or maybe like a decade ago. Genetically. I don’t want to call it a GMO. But it was more like they were breed with a variety that taste better. So they said that the brussels sprouts, that most of us eat now are that variety, and they actually do taste better than they did when we were younger. 🤔

I grew up in L.A. in the 80s. The 3 main parks where Disney, 6 Flags and Knotts. Disney is what it is and 6 Flags is the exact opposite while Knots was just right. From sad eye Joe to the chicken dinner this place makes you feel at home. It has a very personal touch. There is no other theme park like it.
