Know about Dome Tweeters

In this video I have shown internal components of some Dome tweeters which may be of interest to those who want to know about the construction of dome tweeters.
Paper cone tweeters are usually used for mid and high frequency response in a two way speaker system. The crossover frequency may be between 1500 and 3000 Hz.
Dome tweeters are mostly used for crossover frequency above 2500 Hz.
Lots of experiment have been done with dome material. Most commonly used are Aluminium, Titanium, Silk, fabric, miler and polyester films.
Diameters of domes also range between 20 mm to 100 mm, depending on power handling capacities. For home audio applications 1 inch domes are most common.
Neodymium magnets are getting popular for dome tweeters because these can handle high power in small size.

I using mekasonic dome tweter, 3"tweter &2"piezo tweter with 10" woofer 80 waat.and mekasonic 3way12 db cross over network.excellent sound quality in my minicresendo mosfet amplifier home audio system. 25 years old my audio system.

I am using such kinda low cost tweeters in my car,,,the plastic body one,,printed on box as Titunium Dome tweeter,,,works well on a Little bit higher volume level,,,very crisp sound,,comes with dedicated cross over

Sir, I have 8"-8 ohm Dual cone pair spkr. with 4" Horn tweeter. Pl suggest aprotiate amp. to cover16'×13' hall. UNIVERSAL amp. us-95 is a better choice or someone else brand. I have Creative SB 370 compt. System with 2" Cube spkr. &4" woffer

hello, I have 2 4 inch dome tweeters with a 3.3uf 250v capacitor on 4 ohms. I'm using it with a 4x80w amp. 2 6.5 inch midrange 4 ohms installed but 100uf vs 47uf ? should i wear it
