As in previous tutorials I've watched the information is clear and easy to follow. Will this large fence fit on my 14" BS350s which recently bought from new, or can you recommend any other options please. Thanks Dave

Hello, thank you for your kind feedback. If you visit our website and search for our SABRE Bandsaw Fence Upgrade Kit (Part Code 88888) you can buy this fence to attach to your BS350S. Best Wishes, Record Power.

@@RecordPowerTV Thats great. Please can you tell me is it an option to buy just the fence and fit it to my existing setup. Thanks again Dave

@@dbull46 I have the Record Power BS350S, and the Sabre350 fence upgrade (part number 88888) fits with no modifications to the table. The fence upgrade is available separately, and I paid €144 for my upgrade kit. The upgrade kit comes with two fences and two resawing bars. The tall fence is shown in this video and the other fence is about half as tall.

I love my Record Power BS250. I use the Record Power silicone spray on the guides, but use Axminster Machine Wax on the cast table - it works really well.

Why do you have to loosen the cam adjustment to remove the fence?
@RecordPowerTV4 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike, loosening the cam adjustment allows the fence to be removed with ease as this helps to release the fence. Best Wishes, Record Power.

@@RecordPowerTV Thank you for the reply. I bought this kit based on your video, and I can confirm it is not necessary to loosen the cam adjustment to remove the fence. I don't want to have to realign the fence to the table miter slot each time I change the fence. I also discovered an annoying flaw with the design that causes the fence to move along the rail while tightening the locking nut. The problem, as I see it, is the locking bolt is not centered on the fence rail, so as the knob is turned to secure it in place, the entire fence assembly moves slightly to the right. I modified mine to completely eliminate this movement. The fence can be locked in place or released to move along the rail with a quarter turn of the locking knob.

Il aurait pas été plus judicieux à la conception de prévoir la manette qui gène de l’autre côté de la lame ??

Silicone spray on the table of a woodworking tool? I think not. Shouldn't even have in the woodworking shop. Easiest way to create fisheyes in your film finishes. Bob

Hello, thanks for you comment. And yes if this was the finished timber it could effect glueing up the timber or the finish of your choice , but as mentioned in the video you can also use wax instead of, all we are trying to do is protect the machine and make it more efficient in use , also after using the bandsaw which is just preparation of timber you usually use a planer thicknesses or a plane to give you the desired finish before applying you finishes. Best Wishes, Record Power.
