Great video Jesse. Simple, straightforward and great information. I'm working on my 94 TT z32 and your vids are a good source of info.

Really great breakdown. Thanks so much! I was very lucky, I got a 94' NA 2+0 as my first car and she's a beauty. At times she gives me problems here and there but so far I've learned with her and have gotten her fixed up. Videos like this really helps me.

My Z32 has 18k miles, but I've been buying spare parts, precisely because of some of the issues you point out. Yeah, at the rate I'm driving the car since '96, I'll probably be dead before I ever get to use any of them, but you never know. Some parts are actually becoming scarce/NLA. Like the '96 TT a/c condenser; ask me how I know. 😬

96' with 18k Miles 😍 Very Nice! Extra parts are Great until you have to move and your like "Why do I have all this extra stuff again?"😂

don't need to touch engine to remove steering rack ;) i've done it a bunch, if you want to save time. good vid! lots of good points
@BuildTheoryZ3 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, good to know. Are you able to slide the rack out the side?
@SeanEpoc3 жыл бұрын
@@BuildTheoryZ yea you bet, there's a small hardline that kinda goes up an inch from the rack and to the left and back into the rack, need to remove that or it'll hit the oil pan, I think it was a 10mm flare nut wrench... anyway, once that bit is out, and the usual connections around the steering box, it'll slide out the side with some twisting, turning, and swearing. just a tip incase you get stuck doing it, or like me, having to do it 10 times hahaha

Hey I live in Illinois and I’m wondering where I can find a 300zx like websites because i don’t know what website to look. I also can’t find one with a good price and a decent mileage

@@BuildTheoryZ I’m trying to look for a car but I found one for 6k and it has 47k miles on it, the person selling it says there are no problems with the car

@@effex3342 Yeah that low miles for sure, If it truly has 47k miles and no problem or damage it could definitely be a score

@@BuildTheoryZ I flipped mine in 97 2 weeks after I got my license & my boy flipped his 3Z not long after he got his. Both of us were on country roads & overcorrected before we wrecked. Those type of drifting cars are different than driving any other car, not good to buy for a kid's first car, like a Mustang or a Camaro SS.

Why would you be crazy to buy a JDM car that set the tone for every other halo car from japan. They are 30 years old so, but they made a lot of them so used parts are available. Buy now because the z32 is a much better car then the 3000gt vr4. Keep on building and driving cars if you love it!.

Thanks for watching! Yes way better than the 3000gt!

@@BuildTheoryZ great channel thanks for the info for z32’s I’ve built mine and running 600whp at 21 psi. I bought a beautiful 91 and the owner had a receipt of a brand new engine and thought I was buying a decent car. Unfortunately it was not tuned properly and washed out the rings and I burnt two pistons. Thank god I was expecting issues and did a full build. Let your viewers know how important it is to find a good mechanic. These cars are very reliable if done right. The list at what to look for is right on! I have everything redone. I have haltech with MAP sensor best upgrade I have done except for big brake kit. 6 piston Porsche brembos with Akubono 370 rotors. Best car I’ve owned. Get z32’s while you can. When doing your videos you should show the viewers what the parts are on the car so others can check for themselves.
