Definitely a relation to the way the forcing cone is shaped and patterning. Using 2 different Beretta's with the same blink action and a full Beretta choke. At 20 yards the a400 Extreme Plus barrel threw a beautiful group, where the 1301 tactical barrel almost tripped the size of the group with the exact same choke!

Generally Vague. I guess they better do some pattern tests on paper plates at 30 yards.

Hey! Since you guys are having federal load your 16ga now, can you please have them make the hulls purple? We 16ga lovers prefer the purple hull color.

Lengthy forcing cone loose up wad seal when it omits from cartridge because chamber is greater then wad seal diameter and this decrease your shotgun shell pressure and degrade patterens.
