Hi, i'am a 20 years old young man from Brasil and i like the way that you explain the concepts of psychology. I have a question for you: my best intelligences are linguistic intrapessoal and existencial. I' am a performing arts/acting student but i know that my body and musical intelligence is very poor. Should i search for other professional area? Can i became very good in area that i have many dificults? The question is: do what i' am good or do a thing that i like but don't have the natural talent? What are the talent of the good actor? What intelligence predominant in excellent actors? Muito obrigado! Espero que possa me ajudar!

One of the most vital lessons I’ve learned from getting to know myself is that self trust is key to executing new experiences, and that new experiences are key to learning more about yourself.

By knowing myself better I am blessed to make the lives around me better. I am creative sort and the more I spend time with my gifts; art, music and dance, I get to expand my human experience. It builds my confidence through art to share more deeply with others. As a result I get to have more meaningful relationships with others. My own identity flourishes in my 40's as I have more of everything that really matters. I don't need to fit in to be loved anymore. I don't need a serious romance to define me anymore. Resistance was such a part of my young adult self and I am grateful for my growth. I hope I can teach someone else something meaningful, wheather dark or light.

After a tough stage of my life, I decided to allow me to feel and contemplate any emotion or thought without inhibiting it with distractions or strong stimuli. I chose to follow my inner triggers. Knowing that (according to this psychological theory) my dominant intelligences are intrapersonal, existencial and linguistic has allowed me to grow tremendously and to better understand that my human experience is valuable as well as that of others.

Scored 97% Intra-personal intelligence. THIS IS ME!! I can sit and answer the question "Who Am I?" all day and come up with a different, more complex, beautifully heartbreaking answers each time I'm asked. Paired with a high level of Visual/Spacial Intelligence, I am a successful photographer and have trained my eye and heart to capture moments of relationship that others may miss, because that is the thing I most desire and continue to heal from. Great video, thank you!!

This one is deep! I can't really choose my favorite type of intelligence anymore. At this point of my life I wanna explore all of them with freedom and passion. Trying different things to discover what I like and what not so much helped me a lot to discover who I am. Although it was a bit tricky since I've learned that I LOVE novelty and learning new things. Recently it was world of chess, game design and rubik's cube, now it's piano, body language and singing. Also journaling helps in discovering my feelings, passions, fears, thoughts but I feel lazy about it for some reason. Other people being our mirrors and therefore helping us to understand ourselves better hits deep, even If I heard it a lots of times, but now, when I have experiences with it and can relate, this is 100% accurate! Wow even writing this comment helped me to understand myself better :D

I spent several years in the orbit of Osho Rajneesh. My take-away: Fearless deconstruction of who and what I think I am. It is one thing to recognize and accept my thoughts and feelings. It is another step to realize that what I perceive as me, the watcher, is a fiction of ‘my’ mind as well. Freedom is to cherish this fiction, while not being identified with it.

I really like the encouragement to engage with life in order to learn about the inner world. What occurs to most people is to retreat within to answer the question ‘who am I?’ where stepping out and cultivating relationship with others can be even more enlightening.

What about someone who is high in Intrapersonal intelligence, Interpersonal intelligence, and Existential Intelligence? What exactly would they be good at?

Chaos is true beauty, chaos hold's the sides we see as humans to make sense of life as either good or bad. But in reality the good and bad that we see and choose to be is not real, it is only real to the human perspective of reality. If we want to see reality as it is, then we need to give up on the idea of splitting good and bad, do not dismiss them but combine them. True reality is chaos, true beauty is chaos. In the mind we hold chaos, but for most to make sense of what we think we tend to split it up till it makes sense. The problem of understanding through splitting is that we tend to forget that what we split is not reality but an understanding of reality. So we try to correct the chaos to how we understand & perceive life. We tend to forget that good and bad are the same thing. Only time can tell our mistakes, due to time being the language of reality.

I have just this desires which i feel shamful. I cnt stop this things its like running water and not even dams can stop this. Neither my mom neither her sad face .. not even my own dreams .. i wsn’t even supported by own . I cnt understand why im the way im . I have just all round processes going around ..

I'm INFP and highest intrapersonal as well. Honestly, I'm not much a fan of MBTI anymore. There's a systematic rigidity to it that makes it, at best, often misleading and at worst arbitrary. There's a lot of blur and overlap that becomes apparent when you incorporate multiple intelligences and I prefer it.

Writing helps. It's an ancient tool for anchoring own, scattered, abstract ideas into a single chain of communicating resource - sentences/statements that can easily turn into tools and actions.

I developed this intrapersonal intelligence in college days when I was felt betrayed and broken in a relationship and from that moment I sought solace in myself and tried to show myself the right path. And slowly slowly with time I got used to it. What kind of profession or work would go well with intrapersonal and linguistic intelligence?

As a person with intrapersonal and linguistic intelligence, I think a lawyer and neurologist goes well with our types of intelligence. It depends on your passion.

What happens when you combine intrapersonal and linguistic intelligence?
@psychologyis4 жыл бұрын
GREAT question! Firstly, I think people with this combination of intelligences get a lot out of journaling. I also think they tend to make excellent writers in general. They can articulate their own emotional experience with accuracy and detail. And they tend to be able to ensure they are not being misunderstood.

@@psychologyis Great stuff. One last question. Can you make a living out of journaling? (I hope this didn't come off as sarcastic). I'm genuinely curious.

@@jamesmalonda1521 What did you find out?
@jamesmalonda15214 жыл бұрын
@@psychologyis Umm... You can, but not really... It's ill-advised to publish all your most personal thoughts and feelings on a public scale (while you're still alive, I guess) and it may make you a shining beacon to hackers and crooks. The closest thing to journaling online is blogging or perhaps writing an autobiography. The resources I googled weren't that useful in hindsight. They mostly talk about using journaling to make better decisions for your business and in turn earn more money that way, creating and selling physical journals (notebooks), or using your journal to align your subconscious mind with the hidden fabrics of the universe which will somehow bring more money into your life. Either way, not what I was looking for. But informative none the less.

Intrapersonal + kinesthetic = ?
@psychologyis3 жыл бұрын
Great question! I think people with intrapersonal and kinesthetic do thrive in the practice of martial arts, yoga, and movement practices that bring you into a deeper understanding of the nature of your own self and your own existence. These two intelligences in combination also fuel an ability to live in a very healthy way. Tuned in to your body and to yourself, you know what you need and you know how to take care of yourself. Thanks for the great question.
