The question is: do you think about the brain as a "computer" or as a "radio receiver"??? (a "Generator" of "consciousness" or a "Receiver" of "consciousness??) If it is "biological" then it would be more like the operation of the "Eyes" than of a "Computer". There is a WHOLE SPECTRUM of ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION (Light) but the biological "eyes" only "RESPOND TO" a very small sliver of that ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION, and there are other animals whose "eyes" "RESPOND TO" a wider SPECTRUM, and see A DIFFERENT WORLD. If Human biological "Eyes" responded to a WIDER SPECTRUM then how we see the world would be entirely differently. Suppose there is a WHOLE SPECTRUM of CONSCIOUSNESS or AWARENESS and the biological brain only RESPONDS TO a very small sliver of WHAT IS ACTUALLY THERE??? And what Jung and Frankl called the "Unconscious" is actually comparable to "Infrared" and "Ultraviolet" light, just parts of the "Consciousness" SPECTRUM beyond which the "biological" brain, just does NOT RESPOND, and therefore does not even KNOW THAT IT IS THERE. (appears to be "unconscious" of it.) Since part of "Consciousness" or "Awareness" seems to be a sense of "SELF" or "locus point" where the "awareness" and "consciousness" seems to be centered. Then there is the Bible "Made in the Image of God" concept, and there is God describing Himself as I AM, THAT I AM. (the Universal sense of SELF) Implying that that the "Consciousness" or "Awareness" ENDLESS SPECTRUM would STILL BE THERE, whether there was any "biological" Brain to RESPOND TO IT OR NOT. (that would mean for both the Individual sense of "Self" and the Universal sense of "SELF".)
