I just bought a pair and I was shocked how much more protection they have then the pictures indicate. They are so protective. ❤ additionally they are fairly easy to get on and I have huge hands. I ordered xxxl and my paw slides in with some effort nut they are roomy once I’m in. Finger sleeves are longer than my long fingers which is great. I’m 6’7” tall.

I’ve got the pod version. I love them and I ride a scooter. That’s pretty urban type riding although I do tour too.

Wait, so I'm not allowed to wear my Handroid IIIs with two-piece Alpinestars leathers on my VFR800? Damn, I had no idea.

Urban Rider, what would be good size considering other brands? I'm unable to try them before purchase on internet, I wear something between L and XL (as from Dainese and Komine). They are telling to take L by size chart for wrists.
@TheLillianYoung4 жыл бұрын
Does the Handroid MK4 include adequate wrist protection? I wear thin gloves (for skin abrasion reduction) and wrist guards. That's two things I have to put on. Having one would be ideal, but wrist protection's important.

Does it have touch screen compatibility? And is there any wrist support on the handroid pod or is it just plain leather on the wrist?
@thomasche4 жыл бұрын
Hi, there is no touch screen compatibility. Also there are no wrist support on the pod ones. Someone mention earlier that they hurt at first, this is true. The gloves and leather needs sometimes before they get used. Regards

@@thomasche I have just bought the Mk IV POD version and they work perfectly with my iphone 12 pro. I bought them thinking they were not compatible and was just about to buy Glove Tacts for them when i just tried it out on the the iphone, and worked perfectly, unlocking, swiping, opening apps.... all good !

They do have touchscreen compatability! Index finger and thumb.

Honestly, they were not as expensive as i figured they would be. Were gonna have to get the ground some gloves to protect it from my hand.

Hello urban rider team, could you please tell me if the (fresh) air can flow inside the knucle protection and give some advantage in hot weather? I see there are holes in the top, but ia not clear from the front of the plastic knucle protection. Thank you!
@UrbanRiderlondon3 жыл бұрын
There is some air flow, but for proper heat, these might be a bit too much!

I feel like this will tire our your hands quicker. Because it adds resistance to squeezing the throttle
@B-zzz5 жыл бұрын
Even if that's the case the muscles should adapt in time but if that's the only thing stopping you trust me I wish I'd worn gloves like this with better protection now after my accident, I fell at no more than 10 mph and crushed my hand with my pinky snapped at 90 degrees. You hand has the weakest bones in your body so do what you can to protect them.
@bheleu0215 жыл бұрын
@@B-zzz by the sound of your accident how would these gloves protected from the bend?
@thomasche4 жыл бұрын
@@B-zzz thanks for sharing this. And yes that is true, the hands are the most exposed as well. Regards

I found the thumbs too long and so using controls ie indicators. I've compared them with the other 20 plus pairs I have and the thumb is about an inch 25mm longer than them. It puts me off wearing them. So try before you buy.
