Any plans for long and short Finger sizes? Palm is 23cm circumference and fingers 22cm, so thats L or XXXL, would love those but pretty sure 3xl will be too wide, 2xl was a bit too short :(

Bought some, notice the thumb on gloves on video, too long. They are too long. I've compared them to the other 10 plus pares of gloves by various manufacturers. They seem to be over 1 inch 25 mm to long. Struggle with indicators look odd. Dont get me wrong I like them but try on and notice thumb.

Hey guys. I just had a rather nasty accident on my mountain bike, and while I'm recovering, I decided to find some gloves to help prevent future lost riding days... And potential bigger injuries. Any thoughts how these would translate on a mountain bike? Thanks

Hi, thanks for the comment and sorry to hear of your accident. A keen MTB rider and ex-racer myself, I think that the Handroid POD is fine for downhill and features amazing protection, but it might get a bit hot if you are Cross Country. Have you seen the Orsa OR3 textile, www.planet-knox.com/product/orsa-or3-mx-gloves/? These might be more suitable and a lot more breathable. Hope that helps? Thanks, Aaron KNOX

@@KnoxArmour Thanks for the reply. I had a feeling they looked a bit warm. To be honest, I think cross country is fine with any sort of cycle gloves, as there is little chance of the kind of falls that become a real threat on downhill riding. In my case, I took a ramp too fast, landed badly, and hyperextended my thumb when my hand yanked from the handlebars. It is this hyperextension that I want to protect against, and the exoskeleton feature of these gloves seem like the best thing to keep joints from bending the wrong way. As they are far more expensive than the usual cycle gloves, I want to make sure they are what I am looking for. Would the Pods be helpful to minimise hyperextension in the fingers, and wrist? Thanks

@@adsertheblade Hi, thanks for the reply. Sure totally understand. The Exoskeleton isn't necessarily designed to stop your fingers hyper-extending, they are really designed for impact and abrasion resistance. However, the structure of the glove including all the plastics will combine to add protection here, plus when you do hit the ground, the protection on the Handroid POD is second to none, especially the KNOX SPS which reduces the risk of hyper-extension of the wrist and scaphoid injuries. @@KnoxArmour Sounds good. I didn't really expect the glove to be like a suit of armour, but it seems plausible that the plastic will reduce the amount of hyperextension exerted, and I haven't seen anything else to do more, or even as much as these.

I have these gloves longer version. Fits nicely first ride, but start hurting the second, more sportier ride. I tough sizing was ok but its seems maybe too fit. Is it normal, does this gloves need a more longer breakin period ? Thanks

With leather cleaner and conditioner yes. Don't machine wash them though as it removes all of the minerals from the leather and then like all leather it progressively will fall apart. Thanks, KNOX

just bought these, thumb is almost 10mm too long, the other fingers are perfect - dunno who has a thumb so much longer

Theyre designed to fit the majority of people, plus when you hold onto the handlebar, that forces the thumb further into it and therefore you need a bit more room. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

@@KnoxArmour nope, the thumb cant go further into the glove because the glove bottoms out on the palm curve joining the thumb and pointer finger, measured 10mm too long while holding the bike grip, other fingers all perfect.

Des gants presque parfait ! Vraiment dommage !!! Le système exosquelette est juste génial, parfait, les protections scaphoïde Knox IMPACT tout aussi parfait !!! Mais alors le système de serrage Boa, mais non, ca gache toute la qualité du gant !!! Au deuxieme déserrage du gant j'avais la molette Boa dans les doigts, qui s'est détachée complètement du gant. Et c'est vraiment pas pratique quand on a une combinaison moto, car la machette est trop courte pour passer sur la manche de la combinaison moto et avec ce système Boa de "merde" impossible de rentrer le gant dans la manche de la combinaison. Pourquoi ne pas être simplement resté sur un serrage scrtch normal et là le gant était PARFAIT. Surtout que tous les motards n'aiment pas forcement les manchettes longues sur les gants. Décu d'avoir du les renoyer et me faire remboursé, j'ai même penser à les garder et enlever purement et simplement ce système Boa d "merde", mais au tarif du gant c'est pas à moi de le faire ! Les concepteurs de ce gants court se sont vraiment trompé avec ce système Boa impossible à utiliser avec une combinaison moto. Système de serrage à revoir absolument !!! Quand au gant knox à manchette longue, même s'il doit vraiment bien protéger, la manchette est vraiment trop volumineuse.
