I think you might be right. I knew its something far east but not sitar. Not enough trebel/twang for sitar. Some guy with a lot of likes said it's def a mandolin lol. Def not that, source: own a mandolin and am from Appalachia and played, seen, and heard my share of those.

No way in hell that's a mandolin. Not what is called a mandolin in America anyway. It has 4 groups of 2 strings with one thin one heavier string like a 12 string guitar. Also it can't do that smooth pitch bendy slide sound. It's some kind of Eastern instrument. Not Sitar but deffffo not Mandolin. The instrument playing the lead solo/melody in the intro to Man of Constant Sorrow is Mandolin. Also the lil melody in the beginning of Remember When by Alan Jackson. Sound nothing like that exotic far east sound.

Since he's flying so high like in a plane, higher altitudes have lower oxygen. When you have a lack of oxygen.. what colors do faces become?? I love this channel. ADD bliss. I'm a house dj and when I try to break down what I love about certain tracks she usually gets overwhelmed and leaves the room. Day five of asking for Stupendium, using the same really long comment If you want to react to a literal wordsmith I'd highly recommend the Stupendium. They have a scary ability to be able to write well, rap quickly, and (in most of their earlier video's) they've done the entire production by themselves bar the music. A few good songs to start with would be: - The art of darkness - Death and taxes - the most fashionable faction Others to recommend: - Their horror Christmas trilogy (You'll get a really good idea on how their writing has evolved over the years) - Ad infinitium (This is literal chaos so I wouldn't watch this one first) - Vending machine of love (Count how many different ways they can say the word can) - Minecraft vs LEGO (They colab with Dan Bull and ERB on this one) I will stress that whilst they only really does raps based on video games, you don't actually need to know anything about the game to understand his songs. When I first listened to Connor I thought dude grew up In a musical family and had a smooth voice , and would probably just end up working behind the scenes …the more I listen to dude and his bars …DUDE IS A MONSTER , his songs are a little short which may mean his bars don’t come natural to him but he 100% my new favorite artist . It sounds like a Guzheng or Koto, sometimes called a zither. Mandolins are much higher pitched and use pairs of strings, this is clearly a single string, you can also tell by the glissandos that it is a fretless instrument As someone who plays the mandolin I was confused why so many commenters were so sure its a mando when it so clearly is not. Then I saw his short vid about this song and in that video he pretends to play a mandolin but that's not the instrument that's making this sound.
