I’m Italian, the original song “Bella Ciao”, is really important for us. It is Symbol of freedom from the oppression of German troops (nazist) during WW2.🇮🇹 Thanks Hopsin!🤜🏼

How do Italians generally feel about a spanish series having used the song? Do they see it as smth good/homage or something bad? Adoro Italia btw
@digioselvatico9153 жыл бұрын
@@eguzkineferreiro8863 personally i don't really mind it. The lyrics would say: This morning, I got up, Ehi cutie, hi Ehi Cutie, hi Ehi cutie, hi hi hi This morning i got up And I found an invader (the Nazis) This song is all about being free of dictators, so being able to speak whatever the shit you want. So yes, this song itself can be used to say many different things. I'll tell you more: Hopsin with this song, Some series, Steve Aoki (if I'm correct) all used this sample and I cannot immagine something more suitable for freedom then the same melody used by different authors to say different things :)

@@eguzkineferreiro8863 Personally I like it. Because I thinks in this way, this important song became really popular/well-know in the word and also because the objective of the robbers in the series (fight versus the government and try to change the situation) is really similar to what happened during the WW2 when the “Partigiani” try to rebel form german oppression. So for this reason I like it. But at the same time, I hate when I see not Italian people that don t know the story behind the song and they usually start to dance and to do strange stuff like it was a common and unmeaning song with a great melodie. I don’t like it because now, lot is people kwon the song but nearly no one really care about what happened in the past.

The only reason that he isnt one of the biggest rappers out there is because he doesnt have any "radio" songs. People like Drake and Wayne only produce radio songs and are also talented rappers and thats why theyre so big.

@@captaincannabis3321 I think we're slowly moving away from radio and TV based lyrics and filmography for the music industry. Bella Ciao is such an important song. It's a protest song sung by mondina workers in the paddy fields in northern Italy. It was to protest the horrible working conditions they endured. I believe the earliest version was from 1906. Then adopted by the Italian partisans between 1943 and 1945 against nazi Germany. Then again during the Italian Civil War against the Italian social Republic(fascists). It was also modified to the 1943 version it was originally called "Alla mattina appena alzata".
