13:55 Probably zero connection, but the line talking about the importance of being alive reminded me of Dr. Kanojia's (a psychiatrist/Twitch streamer) speech after a streamer called Reckful, who struggled with depression and was also featured on Dr. K's streams, commited suicide. This video is one of the coolest videos ever. I’ve always felt that Hopsin hasn’t gained the recognition he should for his art. Anyone who is a fan of his should go to his website and buy some merch to not only support him, but also to let him know that you appreciate the blood, sweat and tears he puts into his music. Like Em, he is a storyteller. If you have followed him from the beginning, his life is an open book.

15:14 The way that I look at that Knox, is that death isn't the end... death is a new beginning. So when Hopsin gave himself that grenade and he blew up that was basically Hopsin being reborn and now he is more self aware and he realizes what he has to do. Hopsin realizes that he has a lot of people to live for so that's why he won't take the easy way out but instead I think he realizes that he's helped a lot of people and he still has a lot to say and dead men tell no tales so yeah I think this is the rebirth of Hopsin. I think the collaboration with NF was also his new beginning and reinvention of self.

Looked it up, that man at the end of the song is Sadhguru, a very famous yoga instructor and author since yoga isn’t just all about the external with the stretches and stuff, but also deals with the mind and spirit. The Mask reference i just got as you were talking about duality. The big animated guns, the brass section samples a little after that. Reminds me of The Mask... Jim Carrey basically became a different person when the mask went on... a charismatic, risk-taking, adgaf ladies man, etc. Kinda describes Hopsin wearing a mask sometimes to hide these internal negative thoughts and doubts from the outside world.

You can see how they set the camera in Stevie Knight's interview. 5:45 of 2nd part of the interview specifically. Sorry for the plug, but he has a fairly long segment where you can see how it moves, spins. It's attached to an industrial robot seen on production lines. The same old robots people learn to program in Computer Science and Robotics majors. Seems like the company shooting the video repurposed them for things like that, and it works damn well. Really well programmed too. Like the beat in music, its timing had to be perfect for every line, and Hopsin had to match its movements.
