Avex, Japanese biggest music rabel started this X-gal project, has appointed JKOP to the head producer. As J-pop has been focused on internal market for a long time and Avex wished to changed this situation. Avex put huge budget on XG to create global girls group . Initial training was held in Japan at the beginning for building up their basic skills like dancing, rapping and singing. Afterwards, they choose Korea as a market for promotion. That’s why some people misunderstand that XG is K-pop but they clearly define and manifest themselves as X-pop. They are from Japan but not ordinary J-pop nor K-pop but x-pop which keeps learning from good from other music genre and keep evolving. No categories of countries or boundary for XG!!!
