I feel that bands like this need to be connected more with the audience in a way that warped tour cannot provide. Pop-punk bands that have a more sentimental value in their songs that are more than widely relatable to people that listen to them would consider it a way of coping when the band performs on the same floor that the audience is and not on a stage. Like the whole "basement or garage" sort of vibe, and would just bring everyone together singing these songs and feeling so much more involved.
