Not including the Master Emerald in the Master Emerald Shrine has to be one of the scummiest moves LEGO has made in years. If they wanted to make people pay $70 for a complete M.E. Shrine, I'd have much rather they scrap the Mech set altogether and just make this a larger and more detailed Shrine at $70 with the actual Master Emerald included.

I bought the bits for the Master Emerald and its stand to build separately, as I wasn’t interested in the mech set.

A 70 dollar shrine with more details and a bigger size would go wayy harder than the weak nuckles mech we got

This set was almost perfect; for the price, it's a meaningful decent sized terrain build that's iconic from the Sonic Adventure games, and comes with two figures that are pretty relevent and Amy is much cheaper to get now, even if it's the same look from the other two sets she's in, and a good Egg-Robo badnik build. Totally agreed that not including the Master Emerald itself in a set that focuses on the Master Emerald Shrine is very stupid.

I heard someone else comment that the master emerald being missing is par for the course for Sonic lore which made me realize that that might have been the point because the smaller green emeralds might be the shattered remains of the master emerald

I thought the carapult stand on its own was a bit odd, so I addedit to the side withthe grapevine and connected the bases together with the brown box. Looks much better. Adding in the Master Emerald also makes the set much better. One of my favourite sets.

Eggrobo is huge. He is even bigger than Minifigure Eggman but if you compare it to ideas Eggman then they are scaled perfectly.

I think the idea was not to make a set with a robot useless for purchase. For then, just for the sake of one Rouge, they would stop taking the set, because for the same price there is a set with an emerald and a knuckle and an altar for an emerald. And so, if you don't want to, either you take two or you choose only one.

This set overall looks fun and silly. but I wish, the master emerald shrine was something more. like the full shrine tho very strange no master emerald being included.

No, I've never seen that. I'm more of a Ninjago fan I've heard of Lego dimensions but I've never seen Lego Sonic

This is a set I would love to get as while getting knuckle and rouge was nice this is the set that is perfect for them, espically if you already have said set that has knuckle and rouge, but most importantly the master emerald

This is my favorite of the 3 summer Sonic sets. It's a significant area from the games that's done well and it's a pretty decent price. But yeah, I am annoyed they force you to buy the Guardian Mech set to get the titular Master Emerald
