Nilan told one time bout fighting O'Reilly and he grabbed his pants yanking his skates out then fell on top of Nilan knockin the all the wind out,fight over! maybe theres a clip floatin around

I seen him scrap McClelland at northlands back in the ‘80s when he was with the habs. McClelland was a tough lefty about Nilans size. Knuckles was backing up before they engaged and was spitting at him. McClelland was purple with rage.

Sorry, but that wasnt his top 5 scraps, by far! As habs fan since my childhood, I saw knuckles play since 1982. No fight in his top 5 against a Bruins or a Nordiques player is ridiculous : those were our more intense rivalries in the 80's. During knuckles prime, with the team he never wanted to leave.fights from his last active years, in BOS, shouldnt appear even in his top 20.

All I remember is Nilan crying g on TV to Don Cherry, saying "I thought you were my friend," when Cherry told him to take responsibility for his addiction problems and quit playing the victim. If I remember correctly, Nilan was blaming the league for his drug and alcohol use because he had CTE. He never got the irony that he was a totally willing participant in fighting and relished his role in hockey. He could have been a plumber if he wanted to.

Best fights? When ? Some questionable choices on more than just Nilan’s video, but this one is the worst . the Semenko scrap is the only one belonging here
