He was a beast, and had a pretty long career. Seems like he played on half of the teams in the league. Was glad to see him on the Caps, since he played against them for many years when he was with the Flyers. Had forgotten about the one he had with Probert, and the viscous punch he landed to his nose. Might be the hardest shot Probert took in his entire career, and the most damage sustained from one punch. Hit him flush, and it’s crazy that he didn’t go down from it, especially with the way his nose looked after it.

You skipped over a real beatdown. Flyer Goon Berube used his stick on young Bruin Lyndon Byers , who just wanted to play hockey. . But injured shoulder notwithstanding, Byers landed thirty one (31) bombs, leaving Berube to call in the refs and surrender. This was the beginning of the end of Berube as "tough guy".
