I love fun fairs, when we were kids, my brother and I, and some friends would help cleanup trash from the midway. For payment, we'd each get a book of a dozen complementary tickets and regardless of how many normal tickets each ride would require, only 1 complementary ticket was needed. So every day for a week, we would get a dozen free rides a day for about a half hours work ... great times! My parents loved it because it cost them no money to keep us entertained!

Those carnival ghost trains don't ever seem to be worth the money. A couple of broken halloween props and off-the-shelf screens do not a ride make.

They ran a free firework show tonight which was brilliant, super busy being the last Saturday, amazing atmosphere. The rides look amazing in the dark. Will definitely be coming next time around if you say its usually bigger. My car keys fell out of my pocket on one of the bigger rides and the security couldn't have been more helpful. All the ride assistants are full of quips and friendly banter, really great day.

Great Vlog going to Towers tomorrow. Nottingham Gose fair was cancelled because the council wanted to fence it off and charge an entry fee and the showmen didn’t want that as it’s always been free. So the council cancelled it.

With the Goose fair being cancelled this year will you be giving Ilkeston Fair in Derbyshire a try instead? it's worth going as it's a good size and goes up and down the streets from the Market place, it won't be to far from T.P.W HQ either.

Went to the local funfair in Brackley last week. Rode Extreme and Meteorite for the first time in 20 years. Sadly missed St Giles in Oxford due to work; but I'm off work for Banbury fair, so that's one to look forward to. Still never ridden a Booster

Great vid again mate 👍£8 a ride is to much for any ride on a funfair 😢Then go on a Matterhorn for £3 and ger a better ride , In my opion these big hitter rides are slow and cumbersome and cost the showmen a lot of money to buy and set up yet don’t give the thrill of the smaller rides 👍

Great Vlog! I went a few days after you, on Saturday 18th. The Booster Maxx was absolutely superb, probably the longest ride I've had on any sort of Booster and it went both ways like on your POV. Did you go on the Superstar at all? That was my other main reason for going, and it was nice and intense :-) Baron Hart's Matterhorn was great too, although I find the lap bars rather tight compared to other Matterhorns

Dorset Steam Fair has a loud and epic fairground but unfortunately, the event isn’t going ahead this year again because of Covid worry. I would agree to not go ahead because of the whole event being big and crowded. They probably would have to wait years for Covid to die down. I’ll just say from my experience during nighttime, the fairgrounds lights up like an party in the night. From a distance on the hayfield, you can slightly hear the music from a distance and how bright the fairground is. Truly beautiful photo opportunity.

You somehow appear and sound pretty chilled out on these intense big airtime spinner upside down rides, your really brave Shawn, I guess you've adapted to them which you've been on loads of fast thrillseekers intensity rides, great blog Shawn. I must admit that I love your humour and very polite about your ride experiences, that ride operator definitely gave you some real teasers, yes I think there may be some hidden in ride microphones lol anyways you deserve to get your moneys worth at these amazing funfairs but some that aren't always affordable with a few I've seen before a few years ago at a spectacular bonfire night show the large adults rides per ride per person was atlest the most ineffective cost happen to be £4 hmm 🤔 I wonder if fun fairs could have the wristbands and tokens system that would be more effective what do you think Shawn fun fairs with wristbands and tokens?

It’s always tough, however I have a list of the travelling coasters along with who they are owned by! This helps count the travelling coasters!

There are a couple of flats that give me a headache - King Loops / Crazy Shake, and also Inversion 12 (also known as Rock Rage). My absolute limit would probably be a Top Scan such as Top Buzz 2 or X-treme. The Star Shape (also known as "Air") is absolutely fine because that is more graceful in comparison
