I wonder if they congratulated Love of Life 3 weeks later for celebrating its 20th anniversary on the air. LOL debuted on CBS exactly 3 weeks after SFT did.

Was he fired? If so, it was when CBS owned the team (and presumably Steinbrenner hired him back)

During the closing credits it said that Bethel Leslie was one of the writers. I remember she was a fine actress, I saw her on a 1960 Perry Mason episode the Case of the Wayward Wife. I also really likes the CBS promo. Out of all of the classic network promos, the 1971 promos are my favorite.

Thanks Rick , this clip must be from the fall of 1971 ,viewing the Sandy Duncan Show clip. My grandmother used to watch "The Edge of Night" in the 1960s and 1970s.

In the All In The Family episode "The Man In The Street" Edith claimed the TV conked out regularly during Storm and Edge (the 3-4 PM hour over New York's WCBS-2 as the sitcom was set there), infuriating Archie, who was anxious to see himself on TV after being interviewed by a reporter from CBS News.

Not many episodes from the CBS run of EON exist. Curious, do any from March-June 1972 exist with Hal Simms saying "Stay tuned for 'The Amateur's Guide to Love'"?

Love the PSA! Curious, you had a video from 1971 on YT that was removed that had an anti-drug PSA with a kid being confronted by his parents. Curious if you still had that one.
