Bro katpati is waste of time to reach Tiruvannamalai best is coimbatore to morappur get down at morappur go to arur bus via and get direct bus to Tiruvannamalai or else reach uthangarai in local buses you ll get N number of bus 5mins once to reach Tiruvannamalai. If your train has a stop at sampalpatti then get down there in that bye bus bus stop all buses will stop each 5 mins once u ll get lots of busses you can save 1 to 2 hrs at least by this way. If anyone planning morning 5 to evening 8 this is the best way in night means you can reach katpatti itself i mean late night like wise

My opinion is night time la varum pothu this route is sufficient bro. Day la pogum pothu use kovai SF Train or Dhanbad Exp up to sampalpatti station (4hrs) then sampalatti to Tvmalai by bus 1.5Hrs So Total Travelling time 5.5Hrs only.
