KO PING CHUNG vs RUSLAN CHINAKHOV - 2016 US Open 9-Ball Championship

Ko Ping Chung faces Ruslan Chinakhov on day two of the 2016 US Open 9-Ball Championship.
Ko, from Chinese Taipei, was a former World Junior Championship and Golden Break 9-Ball Champion. While this was a few years before his dominating performance at the 2023 US Open 9-Ball Championship, there are already signs that this 21 year old was going to be a world class talent.
Chinakhov, also a former World Junior Champion was a champion in many different disciplines. He already held Russian Championships in 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball and 14.1 at only 24 years of age. Chinakhov was also a former Derby City Classic 14.1 Champion.
