I swear I have watched this match a 100 times and I'm telling you ..I guess I've finally lost my mind. But I remember this being a race to 21. I also remember Shane playing safe, then Ko making a crazy kick shot to get out and then break n run 5 to win. I've seen this match countless times. It's probably my favorite match ever. I guess I'm finally fried mentally. Congratulations everybody, you finally did it. You have successfully driven me nuts. Nice.

0.926 vs. 0.926. This might be one of the most high-quality matches I have ever seen.
@zzzthaoster3 жыл бұрын
I've only watch half of this match, but I'll say this match is no comparison to the 2016 Final 9 ball match between Shane vs Chang. That match was even more intense because they both were shooting even better than this match, especially Shane, he was shooting like he's not human. Check it out if haven't seen it.

Top level commentary from Mark Wilson and John Schmidt. Clear, concise, unobtrusive and knowledgeable. A treat indeed. In all the time I've been playing and watching I have never seen a superhuman display like these two put on here. Both on the hill, both with a TPA of .926. Good god, y'all!

@2869may3 жыл бұрын
@@Isuc_at_poolgolf Right, You usually see the brothers at each others matches supporting them. I watched them play each other and they seem much more relaxed then when they play other people, like they were were just playing for fun and didn't really care who won.... It made me like them even more.

@@2869may Oh and something interesting They held a Ko cup 10ball championship here in Taiwan……and they took the first, second and third place😆 with Ko pin yi beating Ko ping chung 10-9 in the finals. What’s more interesting is that they’re all using the “Ko cue tip” that they developed themselves! I already placed an order, can’t wait to get the tip

LOVED KO PING CHANG ,A DIGNIFIED PLAYER WITH PRECISE MOVEMENT ...
@MrJdsenior4 жыл бұрын
Yes, he "glides around the table'..."like he's on egg shells"..."you wouldn't hear him if he was playing directly upstairs". Not my words...but yes, I get your drift...very precise, totally applicable stroke mechanics...just couldn't resist. Sorry. I was amazed how much time he spent looking at the one little draw stroke, placing the cue ball a couple of times, taking the extension, air stroking it, checking the resulting cue travel from different positions for each choice, and finally shooting the 12" shot with 6 inch draw. I would have just set it down, looked at the rest position I wanted, and shot. Only ONE of many many reasons he would absolutely destroy me on a pool table. I would have given that shot little weight, he gave it major diligence. ;-)

Best lines: Scott: "Yeah, I've got groupies" (paraphrased) "They're 60 years old and have chili stains on their shirts, but I've got 'em" Scott: "It's not like Ko is coming along easy" Mark: "No they've had to taze him, handcuff him ..." One HELL of a match. That Ko, too, is freakin awesome! Makes me wonder if the pair of them might be sitting one two one of these days in pro league standings, where his brother is now in one of them (or recently, anyway, and if I have them the right way around). Spoiler: Nothing like getting beat by a productive compliant break kick scratch. OUCH. It goes both ways, though, at least over the long term. It's just that it happening near the end of the tourney in a 933/926 match is brutal when SVB is going for a sixth in the Open. He sure as heck didn't loose this one on anything but chance going against him.
