The MPP10 from WeiJiang is amazing. Oversized G1 masterpiece madness!! This MP10V actually is a KO of the MPP10 as it has five vents on the lower leg as opposed to the four on the original MP10. So a KO of a KO!

Got this figure and it is the most amazing thing ever, i dont care what anyone says its awesome, i love him with his sword and the fact he doesnt come with the trailer is both good and bad, personally im fine with not getting it as i keep him in robot mode 99% of the time, but some people might have liked to have it, the diecast megatron is lots of fun to play around with as well.

The MP 10 mold is witchcraft. Much more obvious with this rendition. In truck mode it's smaller than the classics version, but it's taller in Bot mode. Excellent figure and value up the wazoo for money. Appreciate the review Emgo.

Got this to add to my optimus prime collection. The quality of this figure is as good as the official ones plus it has die cast parts which makes it feel good when holding it. The joints on mine are still tight even after lots of poses and the plastic quality is very good. I'm glad to add this figure to my collection and people who are snooty to ko's are missing out on a good figure. KBB even though they make ko's are selling high quality toys for a very good price and I even have their ko starscream and very happy with both my purchases. I buy toys to display and play with not to invest, if I wanted to invest I'd put my money on something else more profitable and reliable.

The sadiest thing in all that, is that Hasbro ( or even Takara ) don't get it. It's on the Chinese or 3rd party market that a true Transformers fan gets what he want ( imao ). I always wanted a big optimus, Wei Jiang made MPP 10 ! Always wanted a MP Megatron, now you have Apollyon, Despotron and Mightron ! And it's only NOW Takara is starting to working on one ? DX9, Maketoys, BB7, Wei Jiaing, KuBianBao... These names sound like paradise . Hasbro/Takara ? Smells and feels like sh... to me now. I don't even talk about the most important thing : The price.

LATOUR THIERRY well, takara kinda works with Hasbro (which explains why they don’t get sued from adding the autobot or deceptions sticker) but if it is not Takara, it will not have a autobot symbol but if it is molded in, then it would be a pass but no stickers with other ko transformers toys

I've heard it said that this is actually a downsized MPP-10, which of course was the supersized MP-10 with some cosmetic differences. Besides the obvious near-to-chug scale match, I like the leggier proportions, more G1 toon accurate, in my opinion.

Received mine last month and the first thing I noticed was that mine had the lights above the chest windows properly painted yellow instead of all red as in this video and Benscollectables review. Mine did come with some scuffed paint on the yellow panels on the crotch panel but otherwise the quality remains excellent.

Just so people are aware the painted cab lights (the yellow bits on the top) are exclusive to the hasbro mp10, the knockoffs usually try to emulate the takara version (unpainted cab lights-odd I know) but with additional paint apps like the silver across the feet etc. I hate to say it but the knock offs are a better eye catch than the original, in any size

I do not know if you have heard of the MPP-10 Commander. It is basically a slightly larger version of Masterpiece Prime which comes with the axe, blaster, Matrix of Leadership and Spike figure. I believe that is where the mold of this figure is from due to the version I have containing the extra painted parts. I originally bought it thinking it was the official figure and it definitely feels like a masterpiece figure with diecast metal bodyparts and Matrix. The manual that came with it was also very hilarious as the engrish has some funny phrasing! It is definitely good and also is better on one's wallet! But you will have to buy the Autobot symbol and his trailer seperately which is kind of sucky but the symbol is cheap so overall, it is worth it!

Based on the size comparisons in robot mode, I'd say that this Optimus stands at about 7.5 inches tall. Not a bad size for a Voyager.

Definitely based on the Takara MP-10 rather than the Hasbro: in addition to the darker shade of the blue parts, it has the unpainted eyes and cab lights. It's super nitpicky but I kinda wish there was a Hasbro coloured version! Though minor, the eye and light details add a lot IMO.

They are, it's a fact. But if you are an Optimus super freak like me, you managed to get the MPP 10 ( which is sooo amazing ! ) and a MP 10, plus the movie versions ( Striker, Buster, HFTD, etc... ). You have to check Ebay every days, and you can get one at 100 USD or even less. The question is, do you want THE original ( Takara-dead eyes or Hasbro-color party ) or a K.O ? Wei Jiang and KuBianBao are not K.O Makers for me but the real deal. By the way, I got a MPP 10 Black Convoy for 55 USD last week...

Did kbb rerelease this with a different front box art? I saw another version of it at a local market for $34 with tax. The vendor was kind enough to let me open the box, for inspection. Some joints are cracked, chipped paint & the front windows are not aligned so I skipped it. However I've seen it in the original box for $40 to $50 in a mall... Hmmm

Because MP-10 cost ~250€ I'm totally fine with this KO for ~60€. I got my copy under the christmases tree and I love this mold even it has not quite the masterpieces feeling. I just needed a MP-10 and I've got a great version of him.
