I feel like Siege Prime deserves an honorable mention for being the first modern Prime figure after Hasbro settled on a universal scale and aesthetic with the WFC brand relaunch. Most generations figures before siege had super wonky proportions, limited articulation, no standard ankle tilt etc. so getting Siege Prime felt revolutionary at the time. It's the figure that got me back into TFs.

I was able to pay for my cousin to be able to have my Holiday Optimus Prime signed by Peter Cullen and my cousin told me that Mr. Cullen said he had not known that they made a Holiday Optimus Prime before he signed mine...so mine is most likely the very first he ever has and I will treasure it mint-in-box forever! My top OPs G1: Earthrise/Netfilx/Selects/Shattered Glass Pre-earth, SS Gamer Alterative universe: legacy Armada Post Earth: WFC Siege, this figure looks more or less like he already visited Earth and returned to Cybertron and been in a lot of battles and had to replace parts and without the need to blend in on Earth, he let it go I look forward to Haslab Omega Prime set, to see what they done with that OP in terms of transformation Desire, a mainline update of Power Master OP with Aplex armour, AKA God Grini Honourable mentions: Classics OP, the desgin that took OP back to his roots TFP First Edition, the figure that paved the way for modern figures in terms of complex transformations on a smaller scale Cybertron Leader, one of the coolest desgins OP has rocked over the years and being able to combine with Wing Saber, makes him look even cooler ROTF leader, a figure that was far more faithful to the movie desgin and also troublesome to transform

IMO, MP-44s is easily one of my top favorites ever and compares to MPM-04 Prime in complexity of transformation. But Armada Commander Prime is also insane. I do enjoy most of em though, VNR, Lunar, C-01, GE, Reactivate, ROTB Mainline and SS, and Animated. Not getting that Earthspark one though. Waiting on MPM-12 Bumblebee Prime, Legacy WFC Prime, Commander 86 Prime, and Omega Prime. And really can't go wrong with most of the SS Primes, just wish I picked up the DOTM SS Prime, also missed the Buzzworthy version too. Hoping they re-release him.

I mean, I also think that the Studio Series Bumblebee movie Prime has another glaring flaw: the wrong truck mode. His alt mode in the movie was a Freightliner, but the toy clearly transforms into the same Marmon truck that Optimus was at the beginning of Age of Extinction. L figure, easily falls outside of my top 10.

My favorites have to be the Siege and Ss102. I massively prefer how the siege looks compared to the earthrise, it just has way better proportions. Ss102 is also really good.

I find the proportion problem with Earthrise to be caused by the legs. They have seperate pieces that connect to the crotch to form the pelvis, making them way too long, compared to the legs of Siege that just connect into an already formed pelvis. The torso of Earthrise also doesn't look long enough.

@@Ebirah-N-Eva-Enjoyer Thats exactly the issue. The crotch doesn’t look like the crotch, it looks like part of the legs. If they had made the hip section thicker or a different color, it would probably look fine. But as it is, he basically has no crotch and goes straight from torso to legs.

I grew up with Armada and *loved* the recent update. One of the best figures of all time! The original leader was wild, too, with that trailer that transformed on its own (even if the motor was a little weak). I hope we get Jetfire and Overload at some point in the Legacy line.

Cartoon accuracy is great and all, but adding new posing elements to a figure that’s all about improving on the bricky original seems the way to go.

After getting the Reactivate 2 Pack, it’s easily one of my favorite versions of prime to date. Phenomenal truck mode, intuitive transformation, and fantastic robot mode. I CANNOT wait for that game. I’m also in love with the ROTB SS Prime. Wish the truck mode was better, and wish the shoulders weren’t so clunky, but the overall robot mode is the best looking live action prime to date.

Earthrise prime is great and was my staple for a bit, I think it's replaced by reactivate. I like to think it's his upgraded form. Hope to see more reactivate toys in the near future

Man I really want that Reactivate Optimus! The Gamer Edition is literally for game figures, why would they not release him in that line! The BBM Optimus is kinda slept on nowadays, but it really was a great figure and walked so the ROTB one could run. The BBM one actually does some things better though, like the shoulders and truck. The WFC one is great, but was about 85% complete 😪 I think I actually prefer the RTS Laser Optimus to the Legacy one, was so poseable and had a great silhouette! And yeah, defo agree with number 1, that is one of the best Transformers figures of all time! Nice list mate!

Since I don't own anything else other than Earthrise and Armada, I agree with your list. I limit myself to what Optimus Prime I buy cause there's just too many of them. If that SS86 is a lot better than the Earthrise, I'm replacing it on my shelf and I might sell that Earthrise version as well. That's just how I go with how I collect. If there's a better version, I sell the old one for the most part. Keeps my collection tight. I only keep them if they're like the original of the original version but if it's just a modern take, every time there's a better version, I'd get rid of the older one.

In short order, TF Ine Orion Pax/Optimus Prime 15. SS Commander G1 definitive Optimus Prime 16. A rumored Deluxe OP in Legacy United. No idea what thqt figure looks like or if it still exists. 17. Core Class Optimus, just to mention the Pocket size travel convenient version. 18. Mainline RotB Optimus Prime. Not Perfect but still a unique enough figure to be mention worthy. 19. Lunar Rover Optimus Prime-a pretty crazy idea. But One I really hope to get somehow. 20. Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime. Just got reissued, which is always appreciated. Personally hoping they also reissue the Nemesis Prime repaint so I can get that one.

For the SS86-38 Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime, it's important to point out that you have the "premium finish" version. Unfortunately, the retail version also had another issue other than the legs, and that is the fact that it does not have an AutoBot symbol, which is rather disappointing. It's as if you're buying a 3rd party or KO version. To me, that is more than just a nit-pick. 😞 But even so, I prefer this to the RotB version. The #1 pick is almost obvious, considering that this figure is a $90 figure. I think all the other figures never reached past $50-55 except for the 2-pack, but that's a 2-pack.
