Amazing. Simply amazing. As a maschine and maschine jam user, this is stupid cool that one of my favorite features (performance fx snap shots) is in koala, really tickles my fancy. Kudos on top or kudos

Looks amazing! Scene switching should help me easily make variations to arrange longer tracks. Bring able to choose the order of the FX in the chain is so brilliant too.

Such a well thought out AU plugin designed to be easy to use in a live scenario. Quite impressive. You big shot music makers will be happy because the effects are excellent. It's NOT just a game for kids, although kids will enjoy it too. So its a win-win-win and no one loses kind of plugin.

Does it have a dry/wet adjustment? Scene morphing looks like it could be used for that, and if so, does morphing from an empty scene to one with beat dependent effects (cutter/stutter for example) morph into the target effect output directly or pass gradually through its other steps inbetween?

Hi. I just got this today. NanoStudio 2 has automation and I've loaded KoalaFX as an audio effect in the mixer, enabled W (write) and whether I hit Play *or* Record, it just doesn't seem to record my playing of Koala FX. Thoughts?

But let’s say I wanna the stutter fx but just a lil in the background. Is it possible to blend those fx in and out?

Yeah, you can do it with resampling. If you resample your loop through the stutter effect, then you can play it with the original version and blend between the 2 with the volume control.

This is a separate app for iOS - its a plugin. Android doesn’t yet have a plugin format so there’s no way of bringing it to android yet. If android ever make an audio plugin format I will probably bring it to android

Dear Marek. Very nice plugin :) Question: Garageband (except for volume) do not have automation unfortunatelly. Does KoalaFX have the ability to record automation to use the effects in prepared track in garageband? (not for playing live like in tutorial). I know that this functionality should be on DAW side (with possibility to use plugin features) and not in plugin, but I don't think we'll ever see automation in the garageband. I am waiting years for that, but I have lost all the hope :( ps. Do automation e.g. in NanoStudio2 work with KoalaFX?

Hey Dakti- koala can’t record it’s own automation. And yeah, as far as I know GarageBand doesn’t record automation either. I’ve had success automating in Bm3 and cubasis. I don’t actually have nanostudio maybe I should have bought it to test with! But I think automation should work there

Thank you for answer Elf Audio. I do not have Cubasis2/3 and BeatMaker3 yet, have to purchase it some day. NanoStudio2 is also great, however I am most familiar with Garageband and my question was becausce of that. Kind regards :)

DaktiMusic well, if GarageBand doesn’t have the capability to do automation then automation will not work for koala in GarageBand. There’s no way around that except for hoping that Apple will add automation to GarageBand one day.

Efx automation and xy are a few of the big things missing from koala so im confused why this isn't incorporated into the original app

You can automate in exactly the same way when koala is running as an auv3. The xy pad would be great in koala but it’s difficult to fit it into the ui without making some compromises to sequencing etc. I will be making some changes to koala’s effects system which will probably set you off complaining about why koala fx doesn’t have the new features of koala. I just can’t win!!

It's a plugin for iOS music apps such as garageband and cubasis. Working on a mac and possibly windows versions coming soon.
