Board and Batten on the front wall, Shop build part 19

Getting the board and batten done on the front wall of the shop. This will finish off the bottom boards for the shop, the batten will come next spring after we get a chance to mill it out. :)

About the only thing I have to watch out for is the ice in the mornings on things like the scaffolding. I try to leave it where the sun will hit it first thing in the morning to dry it off. :)

Looking really nice! Couple more days and you will be all walled in. After digging that ditch I would of had to take more than 2 days off!! Looking forward to seeing the door design! Stay safe!

Very well done! Glad you are taking some time to relax by the fire. Have you already designed your door at the end of the shop? That should be an interesting build and installation. This has been quite a build. I would suggest a "Lessons Learned" video upon completion. That might be fun.

It is nice to take some time off once in a while. The door build has been thought and rethought and I have a final design on hand. The lessons learned might have to be a few videos, there's been a lot learned but I will put one out for anybody designing a shop after watching my videos. :)

I’ve thought about it, but most of my family is pretty firmly against it. We all enjoy watching all of the homesteading channels, though. We’re starting with a fairly raw 20 acre parcel. Mostly forested, so we’re milling our own lumber for building. A Norwood LM29 came with the purchase, and I’ll be the one milling most of it.
