I was listening to a JRE podcast with John Wayne Parr once and Rogan started giving John shit about his accent. He just replied "mate, if we were in Australia, you'd be the one with the accent". Its a kind of American chauvinism I guess. There is no one "correct" accent, and if there was it sure as hell isn't American English. I can barely understand some southerners. Even average Americans say words in very strange ways (to an Australian), like mirror of aluminium, and they can be pretty harsh on vowels themselves. I guess I have to remember this next time I give a kiwi shit about their accent.

The flight ✈️ to Sydney is brutal. Quantum Airlines people aren’t very friendly. Also, Australia doesn’t take take American 🇺🇸 money. Darling Harbour was awesome.
