Man soo when I was in first grade I saw this clip of Kobe and he became my favorite player since then. It wasn’t his talent or how good he already was as a player that caught my eye, but it was his relentless work ethic that made him my favorite athlete/role model...my childhood superhero is now gone but the impact and life changing lessons you taught us will live on forever.#mambaforever

Kobe was actually named after a Japanese City called Kobe not steak. In America his name was pronounced Ko-Be when the factual enunciation is Ko-bey spelled like Kobe but with a hyphen over the E💯
