Once he got there I became a fan and watched most, probably all, of his games. Like you, I knew my interest was going to drop after he retired and all the woke sht ended my time watching any NBA. I watched his mixtapes every chance I had in middle school and high school. Especially before practice and before my games. This was back then when I had no iPhone, when I had to sneak into the library to watch his mixtapes while pretending to do homework. I couldn’t describe what Mamba Mentality was but I understood it through the way he expressed himself when he played the game.
