Kochadai Muthiah Temple History in Tamil | Madurai Kochadai muthiah temple. Kochadai Villayudhamudaiya Ayyanar Temple is a very old temple. This temple is popularly known as Kochadai Muthaiya temple. Kochadai is a village in Madurai district. The famous Muthaiah temple is located in this village. The main deity in the 2000 year old temple is Villayudhamudaiya Ayyanar. Muthiah samy requested Ayyanar to stay here in this temple and settled here. Muthiah samy and Karuppasamy are in the standing position in this temple. Soolattu poojai function is celebrated for Rakkayi Amman in this temple once in a five years.
