Ingredients / Recipe: (1 cup = 250 ml)
About 180 g strawberries (1 cup)
4 Separate eggs
2 packets of vanilla sugar (8 g each) 4 teaspoons
A pinch of salt
150 g sugar (3/4 cup)
Melt 110 g butter (1/2 cup)
The peel of half a lemon (organic)
The lemon should be washed beforehand.
Some lemon juice
160 ml milk (2/3 cup)
750 g quark (or cream cheese / cottage cheese) 3 cups
80 g corn starch (3/5 cup)
Baking pan: at least 18 x 28 cm (7 x 10.5 inches), the rim should be slightly higher.
Sliced almonds
180 °C (356 °F) top and bottom heat for about 1 hour
Then let the cake rest in the open oven for 15 minutes.
The cake will sink after baking, this is normal (soufflé effect)
