Kodak K Battery Replacement on the Pocket Instamatic 60

Kodak made 110 film cameras - the one in this video was introduced in 1972 - that used a special battery called the K battery. It is a plastic housing that holds 3 LR44 coin cell batteries. These haven't been produced since around 2000.
I wanted to try this Kodak Instamatic 60 that I acquired in a lot of film cameras from an estate sale. I needed a new battery so my search began.
I had seen some other videos where the plastic housing was dismantled and put back together with new batteries and I was about to try that until I found this 3D printed housing that has screws to make replacing the batteries easier.
I popped this in my Kodak Instamatic 60 and it fit great and I can now use the camera!

How exactly can you tell the battery works? I see the internal shutter moving but won’t the camera do that without the battery? I have a minolta autopak 250 and I think I bought the battery from the same guy!! I just can’t seem to tell if the battery works

I think, (I read) that at least for my camera, a Kodak Instant 50, It has to have a battery to release the shutter.

The shutter won't fire in this camera without a working battery.
