Kodi Taehyun Lee is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. He rose to fame after participating in and winning the 14th season of the reality competition show America's Got Talent.
In 2019, Lee auditioned for the fourteenth season of America's Got Talent and within two weeks, the video had over 30 million views on the internet.[3] At the end of the season, he was declared the winner.
Kodi Lee was born in Tooele, Utah on July 7, 1996. He was born with optic nerve hypoplasia, causing him to become legally blind. He was also diagnosed with autism at an early age and also suffers from Addison’s disease. He nonetheless became a "musical savant", and as stated on his website, has perfect pitch.
On May 28, 2019, Kodi Lee auditioned for America's Got Talent performing Leon Russell's "A Song For You". Judges Gabrielle Union, Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell and Julianne Hough gave him a standing ovation at the end of the performance. Union pressed the golden buzzer for him sending him straight through to the live shows of the program. At the quarterfinals, Lee performed Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge over Troubled Water" again to a standing ovation and advanced to the semifinals. For the semifinals, Lee performed "You Are the Reason" by Calum Scott. During the results, he was announced as one of the ten finalists for the season. In the finals, he performed "Lost Without You" by Freya Ridings. In the finale that aired on September 18, 2019, he performed "You Are the Reason" again but with special guest Leona Lewis. At the end of the program, Lee was announced as the winner of season 14 having received the most votes.

Amen to that... but most importantly! He has perfect emotion. No one has such perfect pitch yet such grit in their voice, except perhaps Janis back in the days. Take Michael McDonald, and multiply his talent many times. He's also able to morph his voice to get some of the specific textures of the original artist every time he sings a song, while retaining his own unique and unmistakable timbre. Never in my life have I thought : "This performer is the best" before I heard Kodi Lee. And have been doing this since I'm 6 years old

I am late to the Kodi Lee party, but I’m glad I found him on his recent AGT All-Star run. I was not prepared for this, his audition years ago. I love Kodi Lee. He is so Awesome. My Nephew Dylan is like him Born Blind and has Autism. And plays Piano and Keyboard and Sings and is Fantastic and is 22 years old and I love him so much he is my main man. I would go to a Kodi Lee concert in a Heartbeat but I live in Calgary Alberta Canada and I doubt he will ever come over here. But go Kodi Love you so much you and my Nephew are my inspirations.❤❤❤
