Kody, my wife and I have been playing this BDL3 for almost 9 months now and watched 3 other tubers who rate high out here to learn everything we can to play this game proper and to the maximum that it’s capable of and made to be played. We play a couple hours a day after work and on weekends. She’s 47 and I’m 49 but I’ve gamed my whole life until about 9 years ago but now I’m back and I got her hooked lol. Anyway NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY KODY HAS EVER EXPLAINED TGE SKILL TREE AND MODS AND WEAPONS LIKE YOU JUST DID !!!!!! We learned in one video how ALL this works together and how it functions !!! You made this SOOO CLEAR TO UNDERSTAND KODY !!! The others are very good at what they do and the game but they talk so fast and played so long they forget to explain some things and we miss out or don’t get it. YOU MY FRIEND JUST EXPLAINED TO ME HOW TO ONE SHOT A BOSS WITH MOZE and I wanted to during the Traunt Raid the past couple weeks but I could not understand what they were explaining snd I could not find a video how to kill off my iron cub to proc . But you just did and now I know what I was doing wrong. God man THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!! I do have a suggestion for a video if you do see these comments…. Can you take the time and list the Top damage weapons or best ? What I’m trying to say is let’s say the Boom sickle for example, which version of it is considered the God of that model weapon then the flipper then the monarch etc. can you do that for the top 10 or 15 of the most powerful in the game currently or just the top 3-4 in each category . We’ve beaten the game 2 times with two vault hunters and now we are playing for perfection. Looking for the God rolls of everything and farming vending machines , bosses etc for the rarest weapons mods artifacts etc. like I said perfection 😁 thank you Kody keep up the good work it’s appreciated

Fun fact! If you enter iron bear after sliding with tobogan, as long as you dont slide again ALL of your shots will be amped. You can make some wacky moze builds with that.

I use this build, but slightly modified. I use the re-volter shield with the Sapper Mod since it rolled with heavy assault rifle damage and use Iron bear, then immediately exit and deal major damage when dealing with badass or boss enemies. My Atlas O.P.Q. has the 125% damage to boss and badass enemies on action skill end. Thanks for this video man! This makes staying alive a whole lot easier.

I like recharger, because if you use bear i-frames and take short rides with the can of whoop-ass perk, you'll almost always have full shields without bloodletter

I like looking at all the moze builds people put out, helps me get my own custom build out of it. Thanks for your work! Kaoson is great as well, because no self splash damage. Backburner is also INSANE with infernal wish, but be specced into tenacious defense so it counteracts the fire dot damage. I rarely go down with it. I also don't like cool down since big surplus gets mayhem scaling:)

I been grinding weapons for moze. I just need good shield, grenades, and the other two items. I have a good one that let's me have lifesteal as long as I hold the trigger and hitting the enemy repeatedly so I never go down

I don't get into builds like that, and this is the only BL were I have never bought DLC. As far as base game, I have just the weirdest setup, geared towards keeping Moze alive, Bear self-healing, and riding it as long as possible. I can't remember the parts so well, but: Deathless artifact (doubles shield and reduces max hp to 1) The skill that converts 60% of your max health to shield Class Mod that reduces Bear's fuel use 50% and increases ride time by 50%? Transformer shield (absorbs shock damage) So... I walk around at 1hp, but my total shield is now 275,000. Since my health is basically my entire shield, now, I use the shock gun that kicks up a spark that falls back to the ground. Against most enemies, you can run up to an enemy's face, and just shoot that thing. The damage will be crappy, but since there is always lightning dropping on your head, you are essentially invincible. But if you need to stay on the move, you can fire it at the mob and try to close the distance to take advantage of the shock absorption. And if the enemies are all aerial, just shoot at your feet 10 times, swap weapons and stay there while you fight. You are creating your own shield boosters. Sorry it's so low-grade and defensive, but when I play with friends, I'm almost never dying.

Mind Sweeper (especially with +4 or even +5 in Fire in the Skag Den) is better than Blast Master also when it comes to mobs, assuming one is able to hit their crits and is using something that isn't a shotgun which requires getting close. I have run so many trials and other mobbing situations comparing the two and Mind Sweeper always comes out a bit on top in terms of clear time. An amazing gun to use with the Mind Sweeper is the Lucky 7 once you lock in 3 or 4 of the 5 perks on reloads. The main 3 you want are always crit, splash damage, the lucky 7 shot pattern. 4th one can be the elemental one. Do this and you have micro grenades that can proc no matter where you hit the enemy and the thing destroys bosses and one shots basically every other enemy. A great base game gun with the Mind Sweeper is a full-auto, single ammo Kaoson. I prefer to Kyb's Worth. As I just recently got all the dlc, I have yet to get the Flare so I'll see once I do whether it can beat Mind Sweeper. I like your video and we have a similar skill tree. I do think that if you're using the Super Soldier and your goal is to keep Iron Cub up as much as possible that you should have the 30% cooldown on kill anointment for that shield instead of the ASS one you show. If you could be activating Iron Cub all the time then sure, the ASS would be the way to go. I've also read Grizzled is better than Explosive Punctuation for cooldown yet maybe that's wrong. I'll be curious to see if having the Moze damage buff with Iron Cub up using Flare and that damage with Iron Cub active anointment tops Big Surplus since Big Surplus doesn't work if Iron Cub is up. Right now I can say Big Surplus adds a huge amount of damage (it's the same as Fire in the Skag Den at something like 465% scaled damage on Mayhem 10/11) so for me without trying Flare or yet having the Re-Volter, it is well worth having Iron Cub on cooldown as much as possible. Oh, and the Lootlemon page for the Kickcharger says it fully charges on slide so you shouldn't have to wait to charge it up.

Not a super viable damage shield but it can be very fun, the void rift or black hole can work while mobbing as a base game shield. Its explosion gets skag den and all your splash boosts so it'll actually kill things. It basically gives you a second wind as soon as you go down. Great build though! I've been running something similar, the free radical max dmg (~125k) in single pellet form with the wish 1 shots basically every mob lol

Couple things, so firstly YES to this build...just yes. Secondly I was hoping you have some helpful info since I cant seem to find a straight answer. Torgue cross promo skill, does this MScale like some of the others mentioned? Reason: flakker works amazing on moze (duh) but mine will kill me even if I fire at full range while standing still due to the splash radius increase, so the only way I can use the thing is if I back off every time I fire to be safe, which I dont have to tell you is terribly inefficient for moving through tasks.

Naw you just need a grenade damage annoint, toss your grenade, then do the shit. Action skill start revolter, iron cub, grenade toss, shoot-one shot formula

The infernal wish only adds 1 pellet per shot, so the flipper only goes from 9 to 10, not 9 to 18

For most unlisted projectile weapons it doubles the pellets (bekah, plaguebearer, etc) but you're right on the flipper, for some reason it only adds the 1 pellet. Did some testing and it definitely didn't double damage sadly

It doubles unlisted projectiles because it starts off as 1 pellet and splits into others, backburner, plaguebearer, bekah. But on the flipper the extra pellets spawn separate from the initial projectile.

Annointments and your rolls on your weapons and items plays a huge role in how good they are. You can have the best everything theoretically and still not do great damage if you don't have great rolls.

For raid boss you can use backburner + gardian angel it is extrenely strong with moze🤣

Back burner if you don't want to bother aiming. Else if you got an ez crit weapon like the flipper (that gun is a crit machine).......it's just ridiculous with mindsweeper (but take care to not selfdestroy with the grenade proc cause with 9 or 10 points in torgue skill, selfdestroying is ez). But criting some bosses can be hard and backburners just destroys them with infernal shield, and you really dont have to bother aiming. Even when farming graveyard (to drop a godly mindsweeper), I don't bother doing all the one shot procedure, I just slide inside the pit, fire two shots of backburner while falling, it's dead. And this is just with URad setup with bloodletter and snowdrift deathless........no toboggan, no flare class mod , no action skill end, no 150/90, no amp dmg.....

Hey dude how do your guns deal so much dmg? I have lvl 72 and M11 yet the dmg scaling is just ridiculously low. Thanks to Iron bear I can farm some legendaries but just to never use them.

Each piece of gear - classmod, artifact, shield and correct anointments (knowing how and when to use them) all adds up really quickly to triple your dmg (or more) so if your gear is lacking in any of those categories trying farming those next and you should see a huge difference (:

i can't find a reason to use something other than Flipper's and Soulrend... did like 20runs on true trial sypremacy for monarch last day ...and this weapon is meh...people, youtubers keep saying is the mpst powerful weapon in the game ..but after 10+runs on true trial ...is slow ...is awful maybe is powerful but a Flipperis just better under every aspect. For the Sand Hawk and boogyeman i dont like pseudo sniper rifles..

dont put points past scorching rpms because its pointless past that because mag size isnt a real issue, and put some points in bio fuel and max hamonious havoc to get the augment for iron cub "fuel for the fire"

Thanks for the build. I asked about this last week and happy to see now just as I got the first Season Pass. I'll now be able to make my build stronger. And for base game, the shield I used the most was version 0.M with bloodletter. Very good with plaguebearer and very fun with crit smg (infinite amps) and my other weapons as well. Other base game shields that are good are stop gap, front loader, and transformer.

For the one-shots, technically couldn't you use the Iron cub active 150% damage anoint since it's the same amount of damage as 150/90?

Basically, iron cub 150% is additive, while 150/90 is multiplicative. For example, you have nothing equipped and no skill points spent, except for a class mod. The class mod has 200% weapon damage on it. Adding 150% to 200% would be 350% weapon damage total (iron cub anoint), but 150/90 will multiply instead of adding. 150% X 200% would become 500% weapon damage total (2.5 X 2). It’s really confusing but I hope this helps! I think there’s a video by Thiccfila about this so you might wanna watch that. 150/90 also applies to everything instead of just guns (like grenades, action skills, melee, etc), unlike iron cub 150%, which makes it more appealing typically.

@@KodyMcHugh yes EVERYTHING down to the sub stats and annoints, everything. I cant do anywhere near your damage to normal mobs or to bosses. I have the same dilemma with some of the builds that Moxxi does. He mops the floor crystal clean with enemies and bosses alike. Ill copy his builds down to the T and i can never do even half the damage that he does to enemies.

Even with gear from the first day of hitting 72 you can still kill things in a few seconds even with sub optimal gear. You must just have bad rolled gear.
