F-Fukua? the good old April Fools joke made... REAL. Fukua actually has hidden DEV Lore behind her as well. Back when the game was being made during 2010/2011 there was just sprites of Filia and Mike Z had to program characters throwing projectiles and preforming command grabs. So... there were 3 versions of Filia, one with Projectiles, one with Grabs, and the basic form of Filia. Mike Z spent three days slapping together the old ass code of those two Filias together to make Fukua. Hence why in her backstory it states that she has the souls of "Two Lost Warriors"

there's other... jokes wrapped up into Fukua, like her name being a typo from one of the devs moving the letters in her name over by one on the keyboard, her default colour being green as in reference to a Sonic The Hedgehog 2 glitch which turned Sonic GREEN, How Fukua's parasite is named "Shamone" in reference to an old April Fools gaming magazine post when SG first released back in 2012 where they stated you could select a hidden character by moving the character select cursor to the beat of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal". And there's just so much more. LabZero just layered it all on.

I know I'm like, a year late to the party, but the Filia pallette in this (for people who didn't know) is Scanty, from Paswg (Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt) In paswg Scanty is a demon with the same hair style as Filia. The fight used that pallette bc Fukua sees Filia as a demon that she must become/replace to defeat! :)

Fun fact: the Filia fight at the end of this story mode is a notoriously hard fight in the game. It is because no matter which difficulty is set, the Filia fight is automatically set to Nightmare difficulty, and has 300% more health than normal. Edit: Also, the Filia sleeping scenes is a possible reference to Super Mario Bros. 2's infamous ending involving Mario sleeping. In terms of which story mode to next, I suggest to do Double's, then Squigly's. Afterwards, you can do any order you wish.
